There's a lot of quality idolm@ster doujinshi out there though; we just need programmers to turn those comics into games! ;)

For what it's worth, some doujin games get more respect from me than some commercial games. Even some AAA titles I don't think do the sort of things some doujin games can do.
... But then, they're normally from the circles that get wall space at every con.
