They can just say: "Um... Look, it's not like we want to do this, but DVD's capacity < Blu-Ray, so please bear with us and download the rest of the game if you want RK's portion. If you don't wanna then it's fine, you can play it either way"

That's an instant download for all fans (even if they charge for it. Heck, that's RK! They charge for a different texture of the same costume), and those who are new won't really bother to download it, that's a real win-win solution there.

Personally, I could care less about Jupiter, as long as they don't make their way into a complete wallpaper featuring all idols, or duet song with 765 in a CD. I'm a guy, I want to see and hear girls, not boys, and especially not cel-shaded boys with 14 years old named Shota in it. Loli is one thing, but yaoi shounen ai featuring shota is a different matter altogether.

It seems a fair amount place the blame on Jupiter for RK existing...though that might be a situation like "males in the franchise! sick 'em!!"

Also, maybe I don't feel Jupiter is invading because I'm a girl? XD Either way, maybe they're trying to make more concrete rivals; after all, with 961's "Project Fairy", you could dawdle on your way to/from the production office and -- hey! There's an adorable girl that you coincidentally run into. And she talks to you!

...essentially, Miki, Takane, and Hibiki weren't very threatening rivals. Even at the beginning of the game, you have a hunch they'll be like "Ohh, Honey/Anata-sama/765Pro, take me into your agency!".

Mind you, given the choice, I'd still take the female idols over the male ones (my bias against 961 aside :P). But I don't think Jupiter is really such a bad addition. They're RIVALS! XD

Rival or no rival, the reason I don't like Jupiter is simply what I stated before: "I'm a guy, and I don't want to see another guy on my TV", I'd say that's the start of Jupiter's problem. If you see a guy watching a video of 2 guys and one male child dancing and singing around doing nothing else, what will you think of him?

That he lost the festival he had entered in iM@S2 ;D

But I guess that's a sort of double-standard...where girls can watch girls on stage and nothing is thought of it, whereas if a guy is watching guys on stage, they're questioned? XD At the same time, though; if the music is good...well, why not? Male idols and singers have male fans. And everyone has live perfomances~

Well....

A boy with boys poster all over his room might imply he wants to be like that one in the poster (which, we should assume, a good thing: someone that got a poster of his own must be pretty good financially)

A girl with girls poster all over her room is pretty much the same

A boy with girls poster all over his room means he's very freaking healthy, both in body and mind

A girl with boys poster all over her room is pretty much the same

Eh... but I guess I can't just enforce my ideals to everyone :D

Then what's the problem with a guy watching or listening to Jupiter? XD
