Namco are too proud of themselves to listen to fans and adjust their games according to what fans want. Look at the Tales series.
I see where you're coming from there. But one thing you really got to ask yourself and others is this:
Are you really content on seeing the same thing, same unaltered gameplay and storyline, over and over for like, how many possible installments? I don't think many people are seeing the big picture much.
Another thing:
Would keeping things 100% the same is good to keep a franchise alive? This move may cost Namco some fans, but it in itself should help them get more new ones.
But they already put all the effort into the character design, the models, the motion capture, the voice actors, the storyline for Jupiter. Why would they go throw all of that out?
And -why- the hate for male idols? Are players -that- scared that male characters have been introduced to the series? Jupiter wasn't put in the game to be love-rivals; they're put in the game for the sake of Kuroi having something to play with while we overtake 961. Again.
And I don't believe RK was taken out because Jupiter is in the game. That's a way uneven amount of stuff to cram on that disk; the amount of space Ritsuko, Iori, Ami, and Azusa would've commanded is, without a doubt, way more than the bit Jupiter took.
I don't get all the hate for the new content XD That's how the game is going to be. It's a -new- iM@S game.
I'd only call it a shame because it isn't subtitled and overseas, yet.
They'd be a fool to waste so much money on those stuff, then just thrash everything after the completion stage.
Shipping is the biggest reason I see so far. I mean, so far, that's the direction everyone sees Jupiter is headed. And I won't be surprised if they did.
Agreed. I can say this with some confidence: Jupiter can be in iM@S2
while RK doesn't exist and their members are producable by the player as default. So why aren't they producable? Check my underlined statements earlier. Now, why are they the unfortunate victim of Namco's decision, is a mystery to me.
Same. Though I can get their rage over it since...well....they're new, in the sense that I wasn't expecting those form of clothing (No comment was my first reaction to the new costumes).
Doesn't everyone here who can't own this game say that?
