But they already put all the effort into the character design, the models, the motion capture, the voice actors, the storyline for Jupiter. Why would they go throw all of that out?
And -why- the hate for male idols? Are players -that- scared that male characters have been introduced to the series? Jupiter wasn't put in the game to be love-rivals; they're put in the game for the sake of Kuroi having something to play with while we overtake 961. Again.
And I don't believe RK was taken out because Jupiter is in the game. That's a way uneven amount of stuff to cram on that disk; the amount of space Ritsuko, Iori, Ami, and Azusa would've commanded is, without a doubt, way more than the bit Jupiter took.
I don't get all the hate for the new content XD That's how the game is going to be. It's a -new- iM@S game.
I'd only call it a shame because it isn't subtitled and overseas, yet.
What I don't understand up to this point is that while people say DVD's data capacity might be the reason, that's not really a problem, now is that? They can simply release it as a DLC for free. That had drive was there for a reason.
They can just say: "Um... Look, it's not like we want to do this, but DVD's capacity < Blu-Ray, so please bear with us and download the rest of the game if you want RK's portion. If you don't wanna then it's fine, you can play it either way"
That's an instant download for all fans (even if they charge for it. Heck, that's RK! They charge for a different texture of the same costume), and those who are new won't really bother to download it, that's a real win-win solution there.
Personally, I could care less about Jupiter, as long as they don't make their way into a complete wallpaper featuring all idols, or duet song with 765 in a CD. I'm a guy, I want to see and hear girls, not boys, and especially not cel-shaded boys with 14 years old named Shota in it. Loli is one thing, but
yaoi shounen ai featuring shota is a different matter altogether.
