Well said :D

You should watch out, man. Those otaku'll getcha o_o; I'm sure they can sense these incredibly harsh and untrue words from their side of the internets. ;)
That being said, I hope for your safety, sir. XD

Indeed, those otaku have got a sixth sense when it comes to something they love. I should be fine though, just hand them some sort of limited edition Im@s product or something and they'll be distracted long enough for me to go into hiding.
To get back on topic, if they DID add one new idol, exactly what archetype would NBGI be able to use? After all, almost all the im@s characters can be traced back to a form of anime stereotype one way or another.

The reaction should be quite interesting.

Speaking of which... Hey Himoto, c'mere, I wanna show you something. >:~)
I also don't see the big deal with the rage over a couple of things in Im@s 2. Yukiho's new CV was unavoidable, since her old one had to step out of the whole CV business. Getting mad over how a character sounds is rather stupid... Unless the CV was terrible, in which case, it may be justifiable.
And with Jupiter, male idols I think are something fresh and new to the series. It seems to me fans are afraid of the guys getting with their favourite idol. I certainly wouldn't like Azusa being approached by one of them, but I'm not going to get mad over them just being in the game as a rival unit..
I do understand the pain of losing the ability to produce four of the idols, especially when two of them are quite popular. But they are still on your side as a friendly rival unit. You are even allowed to have a Ryuugu member in your group as a guest, so all isn't lost.
Anyways, that's how I'm feeling so far about the Im@s 2 hating. Sadly, this won't do much to stop people jumping over to the Dream Club fanbase...
As for that last question, a hikkikomori would be nice, but Eri from DS already filled that role, and sadly it would seem that the chances of and of the Dearly Stars characters being in Im@s 2 is slim... :(

Oh shi-- Want an Azusa figurine?
Lol yeah, the hikkikomori archetype has been taken unfortunately. Although... what would a yandere idol be like? o_o;
I like Yukiho's new CV, I don't understand the hate. But I'm on the minority for this topic, so ehh. Yukiho has never been a stand-out idol for me anyway. She's not affiliated with 961 for a reason, people.

I am a Takane fan and I all for a relationship between her and her former production's new male idols, an olive branch I may say. Let them be "happily" in love and bear many tabloid magazine articles and children and hope they have a fruitful 1-2 years of marraige
