THE iDOLM@STER > THE iDOLM@STER 2
iDOLM@STER 2!!

I'm in the same line of thinking. I know a few friends who are complete astounded about the changes, but that's because Bamco touched their favourites.
As long as Yayoi is good to go, I'm game :3

You make a game and it does poorly, and you get offed because of it. It's cruel, but that's business for you.
If we start nitpicking over the new danketu, Yukiho is usually shy and it strikes me as weird that she would say anything publicly about boys. And then suddenly, male idols! Yeah, that is not going to go down well.
I never cared for Ami because her voice is like listening to a car motor running at full but her talking about boys makes sense to me. As does Miki, because well, she's Miki.
I will still buy it so long as Chihaya and Yayoi are left alone. Otherwise I will buy Dream Club Zero instead and continue to play L4U.

They were too ambitious about DS's capabilities and fans' tolerance, emphasize on fans' tolerance
Shit will be real once the real fans break the real DVDs, like this:
Seriously, there are just too much change in iM@S 2. No more Yurina Hase, guys and lost 4 idols out of the box.
I'd say that they take "THE iDOLM@STER must go on!" slogan too seriously :/
TweenDoriru:
Yurina Hase left because she was having issues, right? Didn't she get death threats or something? I think that's a pretty acceptable reason to resign...that isn't NBGI's fault, and Yukiho can't just go voiceless. I think saying "Yurishii is gone, iDOLM@STER is officially worse!" is a little harsh on her...
Also, Azumin isn't the script-writer for Yukiho...so that is NBGI's fault. I think Asakura Azumi really doesn't get enough credit for the job she does as Yukiho. She's not the same as Yurishii's Yukiho, but I don't think we could've asked for something better with Yurishii gone.

Sorry, had to say it; Ami says nothing about boys, Mami does.
Unless by boys you mean "lolicon" XDD
Pizzaman:
Oh hi, there's going to be another interview with Director-1 in this months issue of ゲーマガ, which kinda got leaked online already.
Pretty much Director-1 waffling about shit we know already, and I'm beginning to think it'll be best if he was fired, for the sake of Im@s.
Maiku_Ando:
I think there is reason to be unhappy about IMAS2, if it had been my favourite which was un produceable i'd be really unhappy as well. I think the lack of multi-player is a bit crappy when it had it before.
I have no problem with jupiter, i like them. the song was good, and i think it makes a decent adversary in the game.
The Yukiho situation bothers me a lot however, and I think a few people dont quite understand why. I think generally speaking, no one has anything against the new VA as a person, the problem is simply "its not Hase" in other words, she dosnt sound the same - that is the issue - its not why/how or any of that, its simply that Yukiho fans liked Hase's voice - that was a big part of what yukiho is. For anyone who is not a Yukiho fan, you dont notice the voice, you think its the same - i'm sorry, but its not. Thats nothing against the new VA, but if you like a certain singer in a band or a solo artist, if you swap them for someone else, no matter how great they are, its not the person you like, its not the sound you liked. That is the problem. I also think that the new graphics dont help, because at the same time she now sounds different and looks different at once, so shes changed too much for fans to just ignore, had it been just one it might have been ok, but both at once is too much of a change to not be reminded of every time.
I dont own an xbox, and now my priority in this is to get an xbox and buy IMAS1 and L4U and the DLC i want before they stop it. Not IMAS2. I will get IMAS2, but my "IMAS love" is in/for the old games - the videos i have been seeing on youtube, that funny, shy, quiet girl who digs holes. I came to like IMAS from youtube vids of the old games, had I been given just imas 2 videos, i dont think it would have got me hooked so much, Yukiho just isn't so cute any more, she's just not the same.
I think its the same type of thing as love in a way, like in those stories where a person falls in love with a girl, then they are forced apart for a long time and then reunited, even though its the same person, they are really in love with that girl from years ago, not the one in front of them. My point is this, when the heart shapes to a certain key, no matter what your mind says, anything but the original, even if its just a memory, simply doesn't fit. No one can fix it, or change it, that's just how it is. I think all things with human emotion are like that, be it favourite music, a person's face, or the love of your life, anything but the exact thing which caused the original emotion simply isn't enough to do it again.
As for the "i like men" line in denkatsu, well that's just plain stupid, I don't believe anyone that shy would ever make such a mistake, her shyness would sub-consciously prevent her doing such a thing. A word-slip like that is when your really thinking about something else and you say the word on your mind not the word you meant to say, that basically means they are saying Yukiho was thinking about men/boys when she was talking. That is what me and all the other fans are super pissed about, Yukiho wouldn't do that, and now there's male idols, it stinks of namco trying for a romance story. Its out of character, and the fact they changed the line in the song, it means its a forced character change.
Thats where most of this rage is coming from. The other fans, ie the ones for the removed idols have basically attached to that notion, and are thinking that similar silly ideas are due for their favourites too.
