Getting new costumes

Hi, recently I just starting to play this game and I wonder how can I get more stage costumes for the girls besides buying them from the shop ?

In iM@S, you just gain them from fans each day.  From L4U, you gain them by performing the rhythm game.

In Im@s (non L4U), each costume has a set rarity, and some are only available  on the week you go to a special audition.

As a general rule of thumb, DLC costumes that are also available in-game as well are all rare costumes.
