How do you add the english patch to idolmaster sp perfect sun?

i have the download and the game and umdgen but i dont know how to do it cant you give me a step by step way to do it?

Brief Tutorial:
1.Extract the YUMFILE_1.BIN (It's the biggest file) from the game.
2.Place the YUMFILE_1.BIN with the files from the patch archive.
3.Run patch.bat.
4.Replace the YUMFILE_1.BIN with the patched version (rename it back to YUMFILE_1.BIN, of course) in the copy of the game using UMDGEN.
5.Replace the EBOOT.BIN with the decrypted version of Download Plus (Optional).

I might make a video explaining how to do it later; I'll put that on the list of things to do (This includes finishing my Let's Play of SP, two Let's Plays of iDOLM@STER 2, and a Let's Play of the Extra Episode/Gaiden).

Unlocked. This topic isn't going against any rules to my knowledge. There are no download links or talk on how to pirate anywhere. He/She is simply asking how to apply a patch.

can you add the patch to the one on the umd (Most likely not) or the one downloaded from the psn?

This patch will work with both versions of the game when ripped into an iso; The only difference I know of is a different game/disc ID. Unfortunately, I don't know how to convert it to a plugin (which will work with original versions).
