Cien Laguoire:
I just came back from tonight's short track speed skating sessions, which included ladies 1000m finals, men's 500m finals, and the men's 5000m finals. It was one of the most exciting things I've ever watched live. :D We managed to get a gold in both of the men's events, as well as a bronze in the men's 500m.

So now I believe Canada has more gold medals than any of the other countries. Awesome. ;D Now we only have two more that we have a very good chance at winning; men's curling and men's hockey. Good luck to the US team in hockey, and for any Norwegians here, good luck to Norway in curling.

blake307:
I watched the speed skating competition last night. It was quite a shame that Apolo Ohno got disqualified in the men's 500m medal round. But he won his 8th carrer medal in the men's relay last night.  ;)

I heard that Canada has the most gold medals with 10, while the U.S has the most total medals with 37 I think.

Cien Laguoire:
You would be correct Blake, except yesterday Canada picked up three more golds in a snowboarding event, team pursuit speed skating, and men's curling, bringing our gold medal collection to 13. ;D

And I do believe that today is the final round of men's hockey; Canada and USA will be facing off again for a gold medal. Before any ultra-nationalistic comments are said, I do wish best of luck to both teams, and hope that Canada will be victorious in the last game.

Scotty:
What an amazing way to start the closing ceremonies. I chuckled.

I never saw it coming, but it made sense raising the last pillar for the closing ceremony.

PS: Stand up comedies in MY Olympics? .....nothankyou.jpg

Mabz:
In regaurds to the closer.... it cardiac arrests as soon as Shatner starts his spiel and dies soon after, anything that occurs after Shatner's skit is an experience of purgatory induced madness.
