Cien Laguoire:
Yea, we got a 1-2 finish in women's bobsled, getting us a Gold and Silver medal. ;D
And us beating Russia like that is quite a surprise... hopefully a preview of things to come. Also, Slovakia beating Swedes in men's hockey? Oh snap, what a big surprise.

Ohno actually did turn out to be at the short track speed skating sessions today. First there was women's 1000m heats, then men's 500m heats, and finally women's 3000m relay medal rounds. Ohno is quite the skater; damn guy nearly went full tilt into a turn and didn't reach down like most skaters... :o One of our best speed skaters, Charles Hamelin also did an awesome heat with a huge lead and an Olympic record... which got beat by another Canadian in the next heat, surprisingly enough. The relay rounds were great. The Koreans won the gold medal round, but unfortunately disqualified for bumping someone sometime during the race. This meant that China managed to get the gold, Canada got a silver, and USA got a bronze.

It was quite a night, but I'm sure this Friday will be mental. :D

I happened to see Canada's hockey team totally dominate last night against Russia. It was great to see the U.S win bronze medal and Canada win silver medal last night in the woman's relay in speed skating after the Koreans deprived themselves of a gold medal Via Disqualification.

My favorite part of the Olympics was seeing Shaun White totally dominate in the men's halfpipe and win a gold medal for the U.S a week ago.

Tonight's Gold Medal game in Woman's Hockey was awesome!  Great job to Szabados -- great goal tending, and the glove saves were just wicked 8D;

I also just finished watching the Woman's Figure Skating.  My Dad was harping all day about Kim Yu-Na, and I have to say, I really liked her performance.  (I liked everyone in the forth group so.)  Special mention for Nagasu -- she was just really cute in the end ('oh yeah, thank you to my make-up artist too!  isn't it great?').  Hooray for Rochette getting bronze 8D;

Tomorrow I can't wait;  For me the big event is Bernard curling against Sweden in the Gold Medal Match~

Sev:
I never did quite understand curling but i do find it amusing and will try to watch tommorows match

Picup:
That was a great curling match between Sweden and Canada!  Congratulations to Sweden (as Bernard missed the double in the end) for getting gold 8D;.

I also had the chance to watch the last half of China and Switzerland go at it for Bronze -- great curling by China.  Anyways, good luck to the Men Hockey team against Slovakia~
