Due to the size limit on posts here, I had to split this up into multiple parts. Here's the next part:
Main Character Bios (Part 2)
Name:
Reimu HakureiAge: 18 <est>
Gender: Female
Height: N/A
Weight: N/A
Hair: Brown
Eye Color: Red
Blood: B
Occupation: Shrine Maiden
Race: Human
Alignment: Hero
Reimu Hakurei is the shrine maiden of the Hakurei Shrine and one of Gensokyo's most well-known residents and heroes. She has saved the land of Gensokyo and other places on a number of cases along with various friends and allies. In Touhou Xenoglossia Z, Reimu decided to take part in the Gensokyo Danmaku Tournament and made it to the final round, where she faced off against her friend, Marisa Kirisame. However, before either one could unleash her strongest attack, Haruka and Yayoi appeared in the stadium. Reimu and Marisa at first attacked them, but seeing as they were from the outside world, Reimu decided to help them with their cause. Finding out about the five iDol cores and Chihaya, who aims to obtain them all, Reimu has been drawn into yet another adventure alongside Marisa, Sanae, and Sakuya.
Unlike in past adventures, Reimu's past is explained during the events of the series. When Reimu was seven, her father was killed by a rogue youkai. This upset Reimu terribly and eventually, she went off to go find that particular youkai with the intent of killing him. She eventually confronted the youkai and almost finished him, but stopped herself from delivering the final blow at the last minute. However, this incident caused Reimu to dislike youkais for years as she promised to become powerful enough one day so that she would be able to protect everyone she loves.
During the events of Touhou Xenoglossia Z, Reimu uses a number of abilities and attacks which happen to be pretty effective on almost anything. Her most often used attack is firing Yin-Yang Orbs at her foes. Other abilities include gohei sheets, an air slash, and one of her most powerful techniques, a powerful red-colored beam. Reimu is also adept at using various spell cards with her attacks. Reimu has known Marisa for quite a while and the two of them are known to work together most of the time, thus they're rarely seen apart. Reimu has come to understand how powerful Chihaya is and seeing that she could destroy all of Gensokyo, Reimu knows there's no time to waste and that she can't defeat Chihaya alone. However, she knows that with Haruka, Iori, and Makoto at her side, they can win.
AbilitiesYin-Yang Orb - Reimu creates and fires a Yin-Yang Orb at her foes. She can also charge it up to make the attack bigger.
Gohei Sheet - Reimu launches several spirit-enhanced papers that happen to be effective even against Epimetheus's.
Gohei Square - Reimu launches a spirit-enhanced square that explodes in a flash of energy upon contact with any foes.
Air Slash - Reimu forms a red-colored blade of wind around her gohei stick and slashes her enemies with it. This wind blade can also be fired forward as a ranged attack.
PWJ Needle - Reimu fires several needles that cause instant paralysis in whatever comes in contact with them.
Spell Burn - Reimu pulls out a card that burns any foes caught within the range of the spell.
Imprison Seal - Reimu surrounds her foes with a circle of energy that traps them in suspended animation. So far, she has only used this while in Last Word form.
Sky Beam - Reimu charges up and fires a large red beam that blasts away anything in its path.
Name:
Marisa KirisameAge: 18 <est>
Gender: Female
Height: N/A
Weight: N/A
Hair: Blonde
Eye Color: Yellow
Blood: B
Occupation: Magician
Race: Human
Alignment: Hero
Marisa Kirisame is one of Reimu Hakurei's closest friends and is a witch specializing in magic, but at times is also a thief and youkai hunter. Unlike most residents in Gensokyo who have some sort of natural power or ability, Marisa had had to learn her own techniques. In Touhou Xenoglossia Z, Marisa took part in the Gensokyo Danmaku Tournament, taking down Cirno and Sanae along the way. In the final round of the tournament, she fought Reimu. Before either girl could finish the other off, a blinding light appeared in between them and two girls named Haruka and Yayoi appeared from that light. Marisa, Reimu, and other girls in the tournament attacked them, but were fought off by Haruka somehow. After realizing that Haruka and Yayoi were from outside Gensokyo, Marisa joined Reimu in trying to find a way back home for the two newcomers. After learning about the five iDol cores and Chihaya, Marisa has to help her friends, old and new, stop Chihaya from taking all five cores.
During the events of the series, Marisa's past is explained. It turns out, when she was only seven, Marisa went into the Forest of Magic with her Hakkero. Attempting to execute some sort of spell, Marisa ended up accidentaly setting some of the forest on fire and was trapped. However, someone by the name of Mima noticed the fire and saw that Marisa was in danger. Mima was able to stop the fire by using her power to lower the temperature to cold levels, putting the fire out. Seeing as Mima had saved her, Marisa felt indebted to her and decided to have Mima be her teacher in learning magic in the hopes of becoming a powerful magician herself someday.
During the events of Touhou Xenoglossia Z, Marisa shows a number of abilities that she's learned, some of which have been copied from others. Marisa always carries her Hakkero, a mini furnace that despite its small size (it easily fits in her hand), is a potent source of magical energy and has the firepower to burn down a mountain. Marisa uses this item as the means to power her most often-used attack, Master Spark. Most of Marisa's arsenal is copied from people such as Yuka Kazami (Master Spark) and Patchouli Knowledge (Non-Directional Laser), and she's also known to have learned a few more attacks as well. Marisa has been friends with Reimu since shortly after they first met and knows that the miko will need her help in defeating Chihaya. She also won't mind having additional help from Sanae, Sakuya, Haruka, Iori, and Makoto.
AbilitiesMaster Spark - Marisa charges up intense energy in her Hakkero and unleashes a giant beam of energy at her foes.
Non-Directional Laser - Marisa sends out four lasers that spin around her. She can spin the laser wheel around her for better range.
Blazing Star - Marisa fires a flaming red star from her Hakkero that explodes in a flash of red light, blowing away her foes.
Dragon Meteo - Marisa launches a teal-color meteor-shaped projectile that explodes upon contact, sending out large shockwaves.
Five Elements - Five crystals in the colors of red, yellow, green, blue, and violet, each holding one of the five elements, appear around Marisa and are shot outward.
Final Spark - Marisa focuses a colossal amount of energy into her Hakkero and sends out an enormous rainbow-colored beam of energy. She has only done this in her Last Word form.
Trivia: Five Elements is a technique used by Patchouli. However, since Marisa is capable of copying the abilities of others, she at one point copied this from Patchouli. She may have also learned this technique from her notes in her Grimore of Marisa spell card book.
Name:
Sanae KochiyaAge: 18 <est>
Gender: Female
Height: N/A
Weight: N/A
Hair: Green
Eye Color: Green
Blood: AB
Occupation: Shrine Maiden
Race: Human
Alignment: Hero
Sanae Kochiya is the shrine maiden of the Moriya Shrine and had originally come from the outside world, but came to Gensokyo along with her superiors Kanako Yasaka and Suwako Moriya. In Touhou Xenoglossia Z, Sanae took part in the Gensokyo Danmaku Tournament, where went up against Sakuya. While it looked like Sakuya would win, Sanae had managed to come out on top, but then lost to Marisa. After the tournament was cancelled due to Haruka and Yayoi appearing within the stadium, Sanae headed back to the Moriya Shrine, where Imber's core had crashed. Chihaya arrived at the shrine and Sanae had to fight her. While Sanae was able to put up a good fight against Chihaya, she was eventually overwhelmed by her and almost killed, but Reimu and Marisa then arrived and attacked Chihaya, forcing her to grab Imber and flee. Sanae decided to join up with them as well as, Haruka, Iori, and Yayoi in hopes of making Chihaya pay for attacking the Moriya Shrine. After the events of the Lunacarren arc, Sanae has now decided to help the heroines stop Chihaya for the sake of all of Gensokyo.
During Touhou Xenoglossia Z, Sanae's past is explained. Around the time of the Dawn of the Purple Moon Incident, Sanae's parents vanished and she never heard from them again. With nowhere else to go, the young Sanae wandered the streets of Tokyo until Kanako appeared and took her in. During the time Sanae was growing up, Kanako, using a public image, acted as Sanae's guardian and made sure Sanae still went to school and the like. When Sanae was 10, Kanako took her to one of the sites of ruined sunken buildings surrounding Tokyo. It was here that Sanae witnessed from a major distance a giant robot (revealed to be Tempestas) exploding and disappearing (it turns out this event is what Hisotensoku reminded Sanae of). Upon entering Gensokyo, Sanae noticed there was a moon, even though the moon was destroyed 106 years before (when Sanae came to Gensokyo). The moon is only an illusion since Gensokyo was separated from the outside world long before Lost Artemis.
During the events of Touhou Xenoglossia Z, Sanae is shown to possess a large range of abilities, from more expected tactics such as star-shapes, exploding frogs, and homing snakes, to more unusual moves such as ice breath, trapping foes within suspended animation via rainbow square-shapes, and even a huge water-based beam. Sanae's personality goes through a few changes during the series as well. For example, Sanae's youkai-hunting practices were criticized by people like Kongasa and Byakuren, but during the Lunacarren arc, Sanae's views on youkai have changed to where she might no longer want any part in even hurting youkais. Her reason for joining up with Reimu and Marisa has changed from wanting to get back at Chihaya for attacking the Moriya Shrine to wanting to stop Chihaya for the sake of all of Gensokyo (saying she'll stay with the group until Chihaya is stopped once and for all). Sanae, like the rest of the heroines is a valuable member to the group and will do what she can to get the iDol cores before Chihaya can.
AbilitiesGohei Spin - Sanae spins her gohei stick in front of her rapidly, damaging anyone hit by it. This is by far her most often-used melee attack.
Star Blast - Sanae creates a star-shape that shoots outward in a straight line.
Exploding Frog - Sanae launches frog-shaped energy bodies that explode on contact, creating shockwaves for wider range.
Homing Snake - Sanae fires snake-shaped energy bodies that home in on targets.
Air Slash - Sanae forms a blue-colored blade of wind around her gohei stick and slashes her enemies with it. She has only used this as a melee attack.
Rainbow Square - Sanae fires four rainbow squares that surround her foes and traps them within a large rainbow crystal cube.
Ice Breath - Sanae exhales a swirling blast of cold air forward, freezing all foes caught in it.
Hydro Beam - Sanae charges up and fires a large blue beam that surges through anything in its path.
Trivia: The full power of Sanae's ice breath is likely extraordinary, since in Episode 12, when underwater, she focuses all of her attack's power, exhales very deeply, and instantly freezes an entire area of water solid (Sanae comes out of the ice safely). This particular attack keeps Chihaya entombed deep within the ice until the beginning of Episode 16.
Name:
Sakuya IzayoiAge: Unknown
Gender: Female
Height: N/A
Weight: N/A
Hair: Silver
Eye Color: Blue
Blood: AB
Occupation: Maid
Race: Human?
Alignment: Hero
Sakuya Izayoi is the chief maid at the Scarlet Mansion who works for her mistress, Remilia Scarlet, and is apparently the only human living in or working at the mansion. Since nearly everyone living or working at the Scarlet Mansion are maids, being chief of them means that there are few people there with more authority within the mansion than her. In Touhou Xenoglossia Z, Sakuya took part in the Gensokyo Danmaku Tournament and faced off against Sanae. Sakuya, however, ended up losing to the miko. After Haruka and Yayoi appeared in Gensokyo, Sakuya went back to the Scarlet Mansion. While Reimu, Marisa, Sanae, Haruka, and Iori were fighting the Three Mischievous Fairies, the somehow resurrected Turiavita attacked the mansion for unknown reasons. Sakuya tried her best to protect the mansion, but her knives were completely ineffective on the Epimetheuses the organization sent. By the time the heroines found out about the attack on the mansion, the place was already in ruins. Despite Remilia wanting Sakuya to help rebuild the mansion, Sakuya decided to join the heroines in finding out more about the organization that attacked the mansion and stopping them.
Unlike Reimu, Marisa, and Sanae, we don't know much about Sakuya's past, other than she's known and served Remilia for a long time. Sakuya Izayoi is in fact not her real name, but a name given to her by Remilia. Her real name is unknown.
During the events of Touhou Xenoglossia Z, Sakuya shows her ability to manipulate time, from stopping to reversing to slowing down to fast forwarding as well as her knife proficiency. She tends to set up knives in midair after stopping time and resume time to have the knives fly towards her targets. While this has been seen before, in this series, Sakuya is also capable of producing knives with various elements and properties, such as fire knives, thunder knives, and ice knives. Sakuya carries with her a pocketwatch-like item known as a Luna Dial, which is what allows her to manipulate time. By bending time, Sakuya is capable of teleporting around, a technique she uses a lot during battle and in two consecutive episodes, has saved herself and others by teleporting everyone away. (In Episode 6, Sakuya got the heroines, Youmu, Yuyuko, and any anyone else there out of Hakugyokurou just before Chihaya vaporized the entire area and in Episode 7, she had teleported herself, the heroines, Alice, and Shinki out of Pandaemonium before Chihaya could destroy them all.) Sakuya tends to rush into battle and sometimes can be overconfident in her abilities. In Episode 11, she didn't think that Chihaya copied her time manipulation abilities and was surprised when she got sucker punched by the blue-haried woman. Nevertheless, the heroines are glad they have Sakuya on their side and she will stay with them until the end.
AbilitiesLuna Dial - Sakuya manipulates time, whether she stops it, reverses it, slows it down, or speeds it up.
Normal Knives - Sakuya throws a number of knives at the foe, or sets them up in stopped time and has them fly outward. These have no effect on iDols or Epimetheuses.
Fire Knives - Sakuya throws fiery knives at her foes. The knives explode on contact and will even damage iDols or Epimetheuses.
Thunder Knives - Sakuya throws electric-coated knives at her foes with send out waves that paralyze anyone caught in them.
Ice Knives - Sakuya throws freezing knives that cause any foes that they hit to become frozen solid. More knives means longer freezing.
Silver Knives - Sakuya throws out silver knives that can be stopped in midair and recalled to her. She can even adjust their positioning in the air before recalling them.
Gold Knives - Sakuya throws out golden knives that go through whatever they hit, allowing for more damage and hitting more targets.
Crystal Knives - Sakuya throws out crystalline knives that freeze time for whatever foes they hit, as if individually frozen in time.
Luna Blast - Sakuya charges up a huge amount of time energy in her Luna Dial and fires a teal-violet beam at her foes, instantly freezing time when executed. She has only done this in her Last Word form.
Za Warudo - Sakuya traps her foes in a time-stopping circle, throws knives into the circle, then jumps up and rushes downward onto whoever is caught in the circle.
Trivia: Sakuya's Za Warudo ability is intentionally borrowed from Dio Brando in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure. However, Sakuya doesn't say a thing and instead of a steamroller, she does a powerful drop on the foe. She has only tried this once, against Chihaya in Episode 11, but as Sakuya was coming down, Chihaya had already stopped time herself and sucker punched her.
