Touhou Xenoglossia Z
Sunflorazumarill:
Since the other topic of mine is over a year old now, I've decided to repost my ideas on something that I've had in my mind, something that I like to call Touhou Xenoglossia Z.
Touhou Xenoglossia Z is a story combining Touhou with iDolm@ster Xenoglossia and is heavily inspired by Super Mario Bros. Z (in fact, the intro and the first 10 episodes tend to mimic SMBZ a bit).
This story also will at times explain the pasts of some of the Touhou characters (it at some points details why Reimu tends to go after youkais and Sanae's past before having become a shrine maiden).
Also, for anyone that is wondering about the deal with the Lunarians (seeing as the moon was destroyed 108 years before the events of the story), aspects of that are also explained. In fact, the matter of the Lunarians and the moon having shattered will pave the way into the third season of Touhou Xenoglossia Z.
Seeing as this story idea of mine is based off of Super Mario Bros. Z, I'll give you a link to the best site to get info on SMBZ. You can find that info in this wiki here.
Touhou Xenoglossia Z: Introduction
108 years ago, the moon was completely destroyed. The devastation of its lack of gravitational pull has had a major effect on the planet's tides and overall ecosystem stability. Making things worse were the fragments of "Lost Artemis" that frequently fell to Earth, bringing yet more destruction in their wake. In order to combat this, the organization Mondenkind, had deployed five iDols built around very powerful harmonically tuned cores found in the wake of the moon's destruction. Piloting these giant robot iDols were iDOLM@STERs, who must be female in order for the iDols to allow control. These iDols were then deployed during meteor showers and used to destroy large asteroids with high powered sonic shockwaves emitted via a nicely delivered punch. Making Mondenkind's trouble worse was the organization Turiavita, which sought to steal away all the iDols from Mondenkind and its iDOLM@STERs and allow the destruction of humanity to occur so its own touted superior genetically engineered race of iDol/Human hybrid called the Mischlings could take over in its place. Much of the conflict was about the battle between Mondenkind and Turiavita for control of the iDols as well as the shifting bonds and rivalries between the iDOLM@STERs themselves.
Eventually, the conflict between Mondenkind and Turiavita resulted in the emergence of a super-powerful force known as Auryn, which almost resulted in the complete destruction of the earth. The iDols Imber, Nebula, and Hiems and their iDOLM@STERs fought against this force and won, but at the cost of the iDols themselves. With the entire planet saved, life started to go on. Several months after the "Auryn Incident", new asteroid belts have appeared around the earth, and without iDols to confront them, Mondenkind, how having started a space program, has set up massive arrays of laser satellites, missile systems, space cannons, and defense platforms around the earth to eliminate any threats that may come from above. The Vulturius cannon has also become a part of the Mondenkind cosmic defense system and they are also looking into making a man-made moon using Epimetheus (man-made iDol cores) technology.
It is now Haruka Amami's 17th birthday, and her friends and allies from when she had worked at Mondenkind, Iori Minase, Yukiho Hagiwara, Makoto Kikuchi, Ritsuko Akizuki, and the twins Ami and Mami Futami, have all gathered at the dorm where Haruka lived at during her time as an iDOLM@STER to celebrate the occasion. As it's to be a surprise party, Haruka's childhood friend, Yayoi Takatsuki, has decided to take her to the studio where the two work as typical idols until everything for the party is ready. Meanwhile, in a distant place known as Gensokyo, a stadium has been built for a major event known as the Gensokyo Danmaku Tournament. A bunch of females from all over, only a few of them actually human, have decided to take part in this event. In the first round, Reimu Hakurei, the well-known shrine maiden of the Hakurei shrine, is going up against Aya Shameimaru, a tengu reporter and photographer. The battle takes to the skies and in the end, Reimu ends up victorious. Next up is Marisa Kirisame, a western-style witch against Cirno, a childish ice fairy who constantly boasts about being the strongest, but is actually not very bright. The battle is short as Marisa comes out on top.
Meanwhile, out in space, five objects can be seen cruising towards Earth. These objects then suddenly vanish. Back on Earth, we can see that Haruka, Iori, Makoto, and Yukiho still carry around the keys they used to pilot their respective iDols, although they are now powerless. However, these keys suddenly start glowing. Back in Gensokyo, the Danmaku Tournament continues as the next round commences. Here, we see Sanae Kochiya, the shrine maiden of the Moriya Shrine, and a young woman from back outside Gensokyo, face off against Sakuya Izayoi, the chief maid of the Scarlet Mansion. While Sakuya seems to have the upper hand with her time-manipulating abilities, using attacks she learned from her two superiors, Kanako Yasaka and Suwako Moriya, Sanae manages to come out on top. However, in the next round, Sanae is soundly defeated by Marisa. Reimu's next foe happens to be Reisen Udongein Inaba, a humanoid rabbit from a remnant of the moon. Managing to overcome Reisen's "Lunatic Red Eyes", Reimu wins this round.
The final round of the tournament pits Reimu and Marisa against each other. The battle goes on for what seems like forever as Ying-Yang Orbs and Master Sparks fill the arena. Meanwhile, we see the same five objects from earlier enter Gensokyo along with countless thousands of strange crystal shards. Upon closer inspection, the five objects are the iDol cores; Imber, Nebula, Nubilum, Hiems, and Tempestas. The cores crash into Gensokyo and at the same time back on Earth, each of the iDol keys let out a bright flash that envelops those holding them. When it comes to Haruka, Yayoi is also enveloped in the light. Back in Gensokyo, we see Meira, a female samurai that took on Reimu several years ago training somewhere near the Forest of Magic. Meira sees a woman with blue hair standing in front of her who promptly asks where Imber is. Meira, somehow terrified by the woman, says that she doesn't know what the woman is talking about. Suddenly, we see a light glow in front of Meira as the woman decides that Meira is of no use to her. As we head out to outside of the forest, we see a large flash as Meira lets out a loud scream.
Back at the Gensokyo Danmaku Tournament, Reimu is charging up a Ying-Yang Orb while Marisa is charging up a Master Spark when suddenly a bright flash appears in between of them. From the flash we see Haruka and Yayoi emerge. Not knowing of these two girls, Reimu accuses them of being youkais and she and Marisa decide to deal with them. However, Haruka unintentionally puts her hand over a crystal shard and suddenly, another flash occurs as armor similar to Imber appears around Haruka. As Reimu and Marisa prepare to attack her, Haruka involuntarily attacks them with some gravity punches like those the iDols used, sending both girls to opposite sides of the arena. Seeing Haruka as a threat, many of the other girls in the tournament; Aya, Sanae, Sakuya, Reisen, Remilia Scarlet, Youmu Konpaku, Suika Ibuki, Fujiwara no Mokou, Iku Nagae, and Yuka Kazami, among others, attack Haruka, who ends up taking each one down with little or no difficulty. Before anyone else can attack, Yayoi yells out to everyone that they're not youkais or anything like that and to stop attacking. Everyone decides to do just that.
As the Imber-like armor disappears around Haruka and she comes back down to the ground, Reimu and Marisa decide to take Yayoi's word and let them be, realizing that the two of them are not from Gensokyo. Reimu asks the two just who they are, and Haruka explains that she is Haruka Amami and that her friend is Yayoi Takatsuki. Yayoi asks just where they are, and Reimu explains that they are in Gensokyo. At this point, Momiji Inubashiri, a wolf tengu that serves under Aya, runs into the stadium to explain to Aya about how just now, five strange objects crashed into various parts of Gensokyo and that the land is littered with strange shards. Momiji also brings up that she found a samurai, or better yet, what's left of her. Upon hearing this, Reimu decides that she'll go investigate just what happened and Marisa decides to go with her. Haruka and Yayoi ask if the two of them can go with them to figure out a way to get back home. Due to the tournament being cancelled, everyone else decides to go back home. Sanae decides to go back to the Moriya Shrine to see if everything is all right there after what had just happened while Sakuya heads back to the Scarlet Mansion hoping that one of those objects didn't crash into it. As everyone else leaves the stadium, Reimu, Marisa, Haruka, and Yayoi decide to head out to see what has just happened, especially since Haruka notices a glow coming from her key to Imber. Little do any of them of know, a major adventure has just begun as as Reimu and Marisa help Haruka and Yayoi locate the rest of their friends that have ended up in Gensokyo, they'll discover that the iDol cores have also ended up here and will have to get them before dark forces do so.

Sunflorazumarill:
I've got the bios for the main characters of Touhou Xenoglossia Z up. Note that none of these characters are mine, but it doesn't hurt to give them attacks that we've never seen them use before, as is the case with the series. Also this way, each character has a wide arsenal of unique abilities that they can use.
For the record, how Haruka, Iori, Makoto, and Chihaya function in battle in the series is a cross between mecha and magical girls. I also wanted them to have different attacks to make them more unique, such as all the variations of their iDol-based attacks.
When it comes to the Touhou girls, I've given them attacks they've used before, plus some more unique ones (Sakuya's arsenal of knives for instance). Despite TXZ's SMBZ inspiration and mimicry, pretty much none of the attacks are lifted from that series.
Main Character Bios (Part 1)
Name: Haruka Amami
Age: 17
Gender: Female
Height: 5'2"
Weight: 100.0 lbs
Hair: Brown
Eye Color: Green
Blood: 0
Occupation: Idol, Pilot
Race: Human

Haruka Amami is a girl that aspired to be an idol. She went and auditioned to be one and a few months later she got a letter saying that she was accepted. However, as it turns out, the idol audition was really a cover and Haruka become the pilot for the iDol mecha Imber. However, after the Auryn incident, Imber, along with the other iDols, was apparently lost forever. In Touhou Xenoglossia Z, a few months after the Auryn incident, Haruka had become a typical idol along with her friend Yayoi Takatsuki. It was Haruka's 17th birthday, but while with Yayoi, Haruka's key to Imber, which she made into a keychain, let out a flash of light and the next thing she kew, Yayoi and she were in Gensokyo, interrupting the Danmaku Tournament that was happening there. After a misunderstanding that caused Haruka to involuntarily attack many of the girls in the tournament with an unusual power based around the iDol cores, Haruka and Yayoi joined Reimu and Marisa in finding their friends. However, it's also become a race to find all five iDol cores, which have appeared in Gensokyo before Chihaya Kisaragi absorbs their power and destroys Gensokyo and more.
When it comes to Haruka's past, when she was little, her parents disappeared and she never saw them again. Haruka was afraid of making friends until she had met Yayoi one day in school, Yayoi encouraging Haruka to be herself. However, other than these two things, we don't know much else about Haruka's history.
During the events of Touhou Xenoglossia Z, whenever Haruka comes in contact with a Lunar Shard, which have arrived in Gensokyo along the the iDol cores, she becomes clad in special iDol armor (which looks like a cross between Saber's armor (from Fate/Stay Night) and Imber's body). When in iDol Armor, Haruka can perform gravity punches, fire gravity spheres, send out gravity shockwaves, kick up a gravity shield, intensify, lessen, reverse, and manipulate the gravity around her, and launch gravity pulses, but she can also rain down energy meteors, and her most unusual attack is the ability to produce a crystalline energy sword for close range combat. The effect of a Lunar Shard is only temporary and the iDol Armor eventually disappears, requiring Haruka to find another Shard. Due to the fact that she wears yellow ribbons in her hair (she used to wear red ones), she tends to be called "Ribbon-chan" (even people like Marisa and Sanae call her this) or sometimes "Stupid Ribbon" (usually by Iori). Haruka has formed a friendship with Iori and a bond with Makoto, the three having been the ones that stopped Auryn, and they will have to not only work with one another, but also with their new allies in Gensokyo if they want to stop Chihaya.
Abilities
Gravity Punch - Haruka punches the foe hard, sending out gravity shockwaves. The harder and more focused the punch is, the bigger the shockwave and greater the effect.
Gravity Sphere - Haruka charges up a sphere in both hands that she fires at her foes. The resulting explosion sends out several shockwaves.
Gravity Wave - Haruka raises her hand in the air and sends out a wave of gravity that wipes out all foes that get caught in it.
Gravity Shield - Haruka creates a large spherical shield around herself that deflects all attacks, sending them back to the attacker.
Gravity Pulse - Haruka discharges a pulse from both her hands that renders the foe completely immobile for a while.
Gravity Switch - Haruka alters the gravity in the area, from intensifying it to lessening it to reversing it and various other effects.
Meteor Starrain - Haruka launches an energy cluster high into the sky that sends a meteor storm down onto the area, each meteor sending out a shockwave upon impact.
iDol Sword - Haruka produces a crystal energy sword on a hilt that she swings around. Each strike is powerful and sends out a shockwave.
Trivia: The size of the gravity shield varies and can range from just protecting Haruka to covering an entire large area. In Episode 10, Haruka created a shield large enough to contain herself, Iori, Reimu, Marisa, Remilia, Yukari, and Aya and protect them all from the waves of Epi-chans and the attacks of the transformed Lunacarren. In Episode 13, Haruka covered the Epi-chan battlefield in a large gravity dome that protected herself, the rest of the heroines, Parsee, and Yuugi from any outer Epi-chans and hindered any ones within the dome.
Name: Iori Minase
Age: 16
Gender: Female
Height: 4'11"
Weight: 86.0 lbs
Hair: Purple
Eye Color: Red
Blood: AB
Occupation: Pilot
Race: Human
Alignment: Hero
Iori Minase is a girl that has some trouble liking other iDol pilots. She has been with Mondenkind for an unknown period of time and started serving as the backup pilot for the iDol Nebula, whose main pilot was Makoto. She started disliking Haruka a bit because Haruka got to be Imber's pilot after just arriving and for other reasons. Eventually, Iori became Nebula's permanent pilot and she warmed up to Haruka and the two became friends. In Touhou Xenoglossia Z, Iori decided to throw a surprise party for Haruka, but was suddenly transported to Gensokyo through a flash of light given off by Nebula's key. She ended up in the Forest of Magic where she startled a group of sunflower fairies that attacked her. Haruka and Yayoi along with Reimu and Marisa found Iori, who was shocked to see the former two having ended up in Gensokyo and made fun of the latter two's attire, calling Reimu's outfit ancient (Reimu hit Iori with her gohei stick for that remark). Iori decided to join the four in finding a way for herself, Haruka, and Yayoi to get back home. After finding out that Chihaya has come to Gensokyo and is seeking out the five iDol cores, Iori decides to help the rest of the group stop her.
We find out in Touhou Xenoglossia Z that Iori's family happens to be super rich, much like her game counterpart. Her family in fact is Mondenkind's biggest financial contributor. However, Iori decided that she would rather make it on her own and not rely on her family's money. When it comes to Iori's past, when she was nine, she was walking through the woods of one of her family's estates and came across Nebula. When she told other kids, they said she was lying and must have taken a nap or something. Wanting to see the iDol again, Iori eventually joined Mondenkind through her father's connections with the organization and got to be one of Nebula's pilots.
During the events of Touhou Xenoglossia Z, much like with Haruka, whenever Iori comes in contact with a Lunar Shard, she becomes clad in iDol Armor (which looks like a cross between Saber's Fate/Extra armor (from Fate/Stay Night) and Nebula's body). When in iDol Armor, Iori can perform gravity punches, fire gravity blasts, fire a gravity cannon, and launch gravity bombs. She can also use powerful grappling arms and can launch satellites with various effects. Due to a lot of her forehead being visible, Iori tends to be called "Forehead-chan" (usually by Yayoi). She tends to call Haruka "Stupid Ribbon" and Yayoi "Cosplay-chan" and also called Sakuya "Maid-chief" upon first meeting her. Iori has a bitter rivalry with Yayoi and the two tend to clash upon seeing each other. Like the rest of the heroines, Iori will stay with the group and help them stop Chihaya from getting all five iDol cores.
Abilities
Gravity Punch - Iori punches the foe hard, sending out gravity shockwaves. The harder and more focused the punch is, the bigger the shockwave and greater the effect.
Gravity Blast - Iori charges up, then fires a gravity blast at the foe. Upon contact, the gravity of the target is altered.
Gravity Cannon - Iori produces a large cannon on her right arm, which fires vertical shockwaves at the foe. These shockwaves repel the foe and their attacks upon contact.
Gravity Bomb - Iori fires a large spherical energy bomb at the foe. Upon contact with a target, the bomb explodes into several shockwaves that shoot out in all directions.
Grappling Claw - Iori launches one or both of the grappling arms her iDol Armor has. The claw shocks and paralyzes the foe upon contact and can also affect any nearby foes.
Satellite Laser - Iori produces a satellite launcher on one of her arms and fires spherical satellites that fire lasers in various directions.
Satellite Barrier - Iori fires satellites that produce energy barriers that block attacks. A number of satellites can form a large shield.
Satellite Bomb - Iori launches satellites that explode on contact. These explosions also send out shockwaves for further damage and effect.
Name: Makoto Kikuchi
Age: 17
Gender: Female
Height: 5'2"
Weight: 92.5 lbs
Hair: Gray
Eye Color: Blue
Blood: O
Occupation: Pilot
Race: Human
Alignment: Hero (when working for Turiavita, however, it was Dark)
Makoto Kikuchi has spent almost her entire life at Mondenkind as the pilot for the iDol Nebula. She was confident in her status as the best and strived to be better than Iori. After a mission where Makoto disobeyed orders, she was relieved of her status as an iDol pilot and went to Turiavita where she became the pilot for the iDol Hiems. After that, she wanted revenge on Iori, but later came to her senses and fought alongside Iori during an Epimetheus onslaught and the Auryn incident. In Touhou Xenoglossia Z, Makoto got an invitation from Iori to come to Haruka's surprise birthday party and showed up just minutes before a flash of light was given off by her key to Hiems. She was transported to Gensokyo, but got into some trouble with the Three Mischevious Fairies, which were acting strangely, and was defeated by them. Alice Margatroid was in the Forest of Magic at the time and stumbled upon an unconscious Makoto. Alice decided to take her back to her house until she got better. While the heroines were in Makai fighting Chihaya, Mkaoto finally came to and sensed something was wrong. Heading outside Alice's house, she stumbled upon a Lunar Shard and after becoming equipped with iDol Armor, dashed off to where the heroines were at, Alice coming with her. After trying to take on Chihaya and the events that followed in Makai, Makoto joined up with the rest of the heroines in order to stop Chihaya.
When it comes to Makoto's past, she has been with Mondenkind for most of her life. She looked up to Azusa Miura and thought of her as a big sister When Makoto was around nine, Azusa was seriously injured in a mission and could no longer pilot Nebula. Shortly after, Makoto becamse Nebula's pilot and decided that she wouldn't make the same mistakes that Azusa made.
During the events of Touhou Xenoglossia Z, just like with Haruka and Iori, whenever Makoto comes into contact with a Lunar Shard, she becomes clad in iDol Armor (which looks like a cross between Saber Lily's armor (from Fate/Stay Night) and Hiems's body). When in iDol Armor, Makoto can perform gravity punches, pull off gravity spins, set off gravity earthquakes, and fire a gravity beam. She can also raze her foes with a rapidfire assault, launch large explosive pins, fire a powerful rail cannon, and launch EMP bombs. Makoto can sometimes has a competitive side when it comes to battle and can be a bit stubborn. However, despite her tough exterior, she is also known to have a thing for crabs. Makoto is another good ally of the heroines and as soon as she joins them, they are glad to have her at their side.
Abilities
Gravity Punch - Makoto punches the foe hard, sending out gravity shockwaves. The harder and more focused the punch is, the bigger the shockwave and greater the effect.
Gravity Spin - Makoto starts spinning around rapidly, creating a cylindrical gravity cyclone that sends any foes in or near it up into the sky or down to the ground.
Gravity Quake - Makoto slams down on the ground hard, sending out a massive shockwave that tears up the ground.
Gravity Beam - Makoto fires a large beam that upon contact, sends out a horizontal cylindrical shockwave outward.
Hyper Rapidfire - From her iDol Armor's two guns, Makoto launches a big machine gun-like assault on her foes, razing them.
Blast Needle - Makoto fires large needle-like projectiles that explode on target with foes. The projectiles are also homing.
Power Railgun - From one of her two arms, Makoto fires a large twisting electromagnetic metal beam that flies at several times the speed of light, shooting through anything that it hits.
EMP Bomb - Makoto charges up, then fires an electromagnetic energy bomb. The explosion sends out waves that short out anything electronic and cause such things to blow up.

That was unnecessary.
This is very detailed Sunflora. Looks like you could have something good here, keep it up.

If you say you've lurked for 2 years, how come you don't know this guy's exploits?
Unless you're lying and you're just purely whiteknighting.
