I think that translation project is too inactive. It's been 43% for almost a month now. Well good luck!

aisatsunin:

If you are getting garbage instead of tranlations (・あ・・・れ・・うぇ..) then you probably just forgot to insert font files -- they are in fonts directory of patcher, named 30.png..38.png. If you're not getting any change in game at all, confirm it and we'll dig deeper.

To test that everything's working fine, try to insert script 1694.txt; it's the script of the very first event that happens in game (so just select new game in main menu, and you'll see translated text after intro).

If you want to contribute, you're more than welcome; there can never be enough free manpower. There is a guide at http://tsukuru.info/tlwiki/index.php?title=Idolmaster_SP. To start contributing just edit pages with script text (all listed at http://tsukuru.info/tlwiki/index.php?title=Idolmaster_SP:PS).

About Japanese lines in scripts (you may notice that they all start with hash (#), which means they are silently ignored by the patcher program), no, you don't need to remove them; you are encouraged to leave them as they are. Their purpose is to let other translators easily compare original and modified text.

We need more translators! My basic knowledge of Japanese simply isn't enough!

The % for Perfect Sun has been stuck in the late forties for a real long time now. I had real high hopes for this as it was going pretty quick the first few months.. Did all the translators get bored and quit? (please be no)

I was trying to insert the script 14575 for Perfect Sun with the patcher, but it won't do it, saying there are too many lines in the script I'm trying to insert. Any way around this?

Is your project still up? I can try and translate the mails.

Edit: How are the day and time boxes translated so I can make them fit better?
