THE iDOLM@STER > THE iDOLM@STER SP (PSP) series
Translation Project - iDOLM@STER SP - We Need People!
Bro:
So I'm giving it another try, now that my friend has supposedly found a working PSP emulator...
I'm attempting to patch Perfect Sun, but I'm not sure if I understand properly. Do I need to save every individual image and text saved on the wiki?
:-[
All the scripts show up as .src's, much like Exdeathmore, and I can't find any of the pictures.
Hurrdurr I'm probably being real dumb
starfighter9:
The scripts should be .txt files, at least that's how they were saved on the wiki. Personally i just took everything from the project's blog (http://togiisei.wordpress.com/2011/09/02/script-collection/) and it seems to cover everything needed. If you don't have everything the patcher will just apply what you have so at worst you just end up with a few untranslated pictures here and there.
Edit: And if you were reeeaaaaally lazy you could just nab a download of the patched iso off the internet somewhere.
Heattokun:
For those too lazy to study japanese
okay, looking at TLWiki and how they update like, once in a never:
December 14, 2012 - Yukiho's route translated
August 20, 2012 - Chihaya's route translated
August 19, 2012 - Iori's route translated
November 11, 2011 - Yayoi's route translated
November 11, 2011 - Makoto's route translated
August 11, 2011 - Haruka's route translated
Makoto and Yayoi's route were translated in 70-90 days or so. Then nothing happened for 9 months, and then another 2 routes were finished. Then 4 months and then Yukiho's route came out
Assuming we can see the pattern here, In about 2 to 4 more months we can see Ami and Mami,or Azusa and Ritsuko.
Cavity Dog:
There's not any kind of pattern to it, people come and go and everyone has a different work schedule.
The Perfect Sun routes were in various states of translation (some of it offsite) when the currently active group started on it, the other two games had very little done.
Iori and Chihaya moved slowly because there were less people working on them, Yukiho went fast because a lot of people came together to finish it for her birthday.
I think Ami and Mami are next in line for me after the DS manga scanlations are done, but I don't want to say it'll be done in 4 months. Sorry.

I can see Ami and Mami for the simple fact that once Haruka's Route was 100%,they did work on makoto and yayoi to make theirs 100% as well.
So presuming translation work is done on the game that has the most progress done, The Loli groups gonna be next.
unless its the 2nd missing moon girl.
Then we'll need to wait for a possibly simu-release
