Personal GOTY and WGOTY

Alrighty, at our year's end, we saw a lot of nice games. So why not discuss our personal GOTY?

I'm pretty torn between three games, actually; Forza 3, for being an awesome sim racer and having such a strong community (Storefront, FTW); Assassin's Creed 2, for its engaging storyline (the ending has a bit of a shocker) and overall improvement over the first game; and one particular FPS... Killzone 2. What?! Not Modern Warfare 2? Personally, I thought this was a bit better than MW2, though MW2 is great as well. This game had a lot of memorable moments in the single-player campaign, and it looks friggin' amazing. Multiplayer is great, too.

So, Project Im@s, what's YOUR GOTY?

Oh, feel free to discuss the Worst Game of the Year as well. Just don't start any arguments. :x

L4D2 for me...didn't watch that many games this year.....

I chose Modern Warfare 2 for it's awesome multiplayer and Special Op's modes.

hm... Kinda gotta say BlazBlue and HeartGold/SoulSilver. Totally not on the list lol.

BlazBlue had great sticking power for me and I'm actually playing more right now. It's fun and I really enjoy it, and that's saying a lot coming from the girl who doesn't really get into fighting games. The animation for the sprites are spectacular too. And now seeing it on a 50 inch TV? yeeeah~ ♥

HGSS because while staying faithful to the originals in most ways, it brought a lot of good things to the table for Pokémon, plus it's a lot of fun to play. I had a hard time putting it down and played it almost constantly for a while. Plus I have a soft spot for Kotone. Kotone = ♥

Maybe some odd picks, but they're the new releases for this year that I most enjoyed. :3

I don't have a WGOTY becau-- oh wait yeah I do. KHDS. GAWD THAT GAME. I disliked Roxas and Axel enough BEFORE, now I wish they had died in a fire. >T I had to force myself to play the game so I could finish it. The panel system was cool, and I liked Xion, but they kept shoving the real plot to the side it was really bad.
