About Japanese X-BOX 360.....
« on: December 20, 2009, 10:24:30 pm »
Say one happened to get the RROD outside of Japan, would you be able to send it in to American/Canadian Microsoft and still be able to play region locked games or would you have to send it back to Japan to get it fixed?

I'm sure they'd send you a refurbished unit and call it a day.

(send you an NA xbox if you send to NA)

It's been something that I've always questioned and feared everyday.
It doesn't help that Microsoft's support doesn't answer it.

Take it for daily walks. Feed it. Bathe it.

I'd avoid excessive bathing. It can catch a cold or something.

Not to much food though, don't want a fat XBOX.

True, once or twice a week.

Don't the newer ones have a chip that prevents RROD?

Yeah, but the point is, there's still a chance no matter what.

I'm producing Miki right now. It works.
And I vacuum clean my room twice a week so I hope that my xbox 360 won't be covered in dust which can theoretically cause problems.

if anything my 360 blows away dust lmao, i've had it for 2 years and the jap 360 i have before had rrod but i socked it out and it worked again... only to break down few months later for good.

though i've gotten some dust on the top of the 360 where i had to clean it off with a wet towel but other than that i've had this 360 for 2 years and no internal hardware or overheating.

...lmao what
taking a bit too much care of it sir

There's actually not that much room where I play my 360.  When I set it up, it's below my computer desk and directly next to my computer chair.  I can't quite keep it there.
