Well, I only own Perfect Sun, Missing Moon, Wandering Star, and DS, so I can't really say  much about the 360 versions. However, I do suggest that you get a PSP, because the PSP has a ton of other great games that you can get (plus, it's region free!).

Getting a Japanese 360 would be kinda tricky, since it's gonna be region locked.

Having in mind that Commu events are also uploaded (thanks to Sugio-san and Co) one can start to think that you don't have to buy anything at all. Yeah, you'll just need a fast internet connection. And you'll save  tons of money.

But something tells me that there's a huge difference between watching some video in a small window and playing the game yourself. Something that is really worth the sum you have to pay for it.

Express post is at your service. We have to thank play-asia for a great opportunity to play games that are "FOR JAPAN ONLY" (i.e. for superior beings).

But then again, if it's about the finances then you'll unfortunately have to choose between some options. For example, I could buy dozens of manga volumes for $800 but I didn't.
