Damn you Play Asia!
« on: November 28, 2009, 06:42:15 am »
I ordered my Dearly Stars a little early so I could get a chance to start playing it over my school's Thanksgiving break. It was supposed to ship Monday and it still hasn't shipped yet. Once school starts again I won't have time to play it :(

im in the same mood against yes asia lol. they havent shipped my puchimasu at all ;_;

though the only problem i had with yes-asia is that it took them a whole month to ship wandering star so i canceled the order and voided the payment and asked a relative to buy it for me. :K
(or was it missing moon? i dont remember lol its like 2/3rd of a year ago)

they also took like... forever to ship my copy of heart gold

wat. we get to rant about play-asia in this thread?

x: they lost my DS 00 like two months ago and didn't ship me a new copy like a week ago.

but I feel for you guys, play-asia (and probably almost anything) is a bit slow at shipping things out, but hey, I don't really complain since it's my only way to usually buying import stuff X:

Normally these days, it takes me three weeks to get what I ordered.  One time, I got the item that shipped second before the item that got shipped first, which was really odd.
Last year, I received my 360 from the the day they said it was shipping.

Play-Asia's been really random with me overall, but this year has been their most unpredictable.

After ranting earlier at them for having forgotten to ship my copy of Dearly Stars, they still haven't gotten it restocked. Total waiting time: 5 months after having placed a preorder in July.

For a game that was only recently released in September, this is f'ing ridiculous. And yet like the loyal idiot I am, I'm still going to patronize their store since others are even worse and it's my only way to get Japanese games.

Oh, and they haven't sent out my order for the Dream Club guidebook too, despite it saying "5-15 days".

I got my game a week after the release date, but then again I didn't order it on play-asia but asked a friend, who was on a businesstrip to Japan, to buy me the game instead and he got me this.

Still not sure why the shirt says 'RITSUKO' below the big green @

Also, not sure what they charge for international shipping, but amiami sells the game for 2480 JPY.

Play-Asia has been restocking iM@S DS several times now.  When's the last time you e-mailed them?
Sometimes they need a slap to remember things.

Is emailing after a week delay too bitchy though? I mean, I do want it soon though...

I emailed them on 12 November. This is what they replied:

I am very sorry for the delay in shipping your order. There is a sudden delay in restocking. We regret the restocking date is still not confirmed. We will try to get the stock and ship your order as soon as possible. If there are any news, we will contact you. For the time being, we kindly request for your patience.

What the puck? How can you run a business without even giving at least an estimated or forecast date to your customers for delivery?

My current employer would fire me if I pulled this off at work.
