Wait wait wait, the hikki effect? As in hikkikomori?

New question! What's the hikkikomori effect...? >_< Is it a tension decrease or a stat killer? If it's a stat killer, I'm going to regret my 15 week long hiatus from auditions during most of the beginning of my playthoughs...

... but hey, I always get rank A with weeks to spare, so I can't be doing too much wrong, right? o.o;

Btw, I used Chihaya as my leader if that says anything. Still not hard to keep her tension maxed.

TweenDoriru:
The hikkikomori effect is when you keep your idol from auditioning for...what, 6 weeks? It's a stat decrease...I haven't seen it, but it's probably no greater than a stat decrease you get for accidentally leaving your idol's song the same for too long.

But, I have to ask, while I'm here. Both iM@S360 and L4U do this, and I'm kind of wondering if there's actually some method to it or if the game is just messed up or something XD

When I go to the leaderboards and...say, organize it by song. I find Here We Go!! performed by the loli-trio. I click on it, the game loads, and then it's something else -totally- different. It's not even the right song XD

It'll buzz out if I pick a song I don't have in L4U, but there doesn't seem to be a way I can make sure -not- to click on songs I don't have XDDD Because they're all jumbled and random. Why is that?

Magenta Galaxy:
I thought it was 4 weeks? o.O; And yeah, it's a slow but steady stat drain. At worst I tend to do lesson-lesson-lesson-audition in the early game - you do get a small stat gain from auditions anyway (admittedly in the light part of the stat circle, so it's not a permanent gain like lessons) so it's not a massive hit to potential stat growth considering it cancels out the hikkikomori effect too.

Also, basically what happens is that whenever you pick something off the leaderboard, it'll show whatever that player's saved movie is. Chances are that won't be the movie that got them onto the leaderboard any more, so that's why you get all that mismatching.

It's a pretty poorly thought-out system. :w

The season auditions are all like that, they might even have a Rank requirement, I'm not sure. I think, off the top of my head... Spring 7, Summer 8 or 9, Fall 10 or 11, Winter 12. Don't quote me on that. Look at the description, you'll see it.

Finally, hard numbers. Spring 9, Summer 11, Fall 10, Winter 12. It's pretty tough, you might have to rely on luck for Mail Boosts. Sorry for my memory being all... like, bad.

Chihaya/Iori/Ritsuko (Chiiri?) I think might start at 6 or 7 with their obscene stats, just... don't get Normal anything.

I'm not all that sure on the time limit to prevent hikkikomori-status. I think I audition enough to avoid it XD

And....wow, that -is- a pretty poorly worked system :s But at least I know now XD Thanks.
