Alright! Managed to fish out a perfectly fine Japanese 360 from New York's Book-off store! (The journey involved to acquire it can be told upon request! Or PM or whatever!)
Anyways, playing through my first go with Azusa! Haven't touched the online stuff yet, so I'm wondering if there is anything about connecting to that that I should be concerned about. Well, the thing is, how do you trigger the Off-Day communication events? I haven't been able to pick up on any.
You will be super awesome if any of you can help me out here!

Off-day commus are from giving your idol a day off. They happen randomly on their off-days and involve none of the choice-picking "pressure" of other commus XD
Also, congrats on Japanese 360 get. The 360 version is harder than SP, brace yourself! OTZ
By the by, I remember that this was asked a few pages back (or something), but to get the stage-edit screen, you need only produce a duo. You get the stage edit at producer rank 3. I went up to level 3 on my first produce, and the both unlocked simultaneously.

Randomly, eh? Hm, that makes things slightly more difficult. Thank you very much by the way!
Anyways, got Azusa's B-Ending this time, will do better next time. But now I'm attempting a duo! You happen to have any tips on that? I'm kind of going easy on myself by using Ami/Mami and Miki as the duo. The latter more because I want access to Awakened Miki eventually.
Ah, and the 360 version is more difficult. I have yet to get a Perfect in Lessons for one thing. ~_~
