Magenta Galaxy:
Also re: Seasonal auditions, you're really not meant to be able to do all 4 in the same playthrough, which is why they have the obscene entry requirements. 4 Seasons is something you earn slowly over your playthroughs by starting at different times - I ended up getting mine on my 3rd play (Winter on first, Autumn/Winter on second, then started in July and did Spring/Summer on third)

Certainly if you're trying to do all 4 in one playthrough, that's a noble goal, but just know it's deliberately designed to be nearly impossible. XD

Yeah, I got really lucky on my first go-through with Azusa and managed to get the Fall Auditions and the Grand Prix. =P That was rather lucky.

Okay, well a bit of a surprise for me...

I got the fourth office in Im@s 360, and noticed that my lesson gains increased by quite a large margin. It actually might be possible to Perfect a lesson through A-Ranking now... but the only time I was close, Ami jetted on me. ;_;

So, I think it might be possible, but I haven't confirmed this yet.

Magenta Galaxy:
It's based on your idol rank. The higher the rank, the harder lessons are, and hence the more the bar fills up.

IIRC, it's possible to steal a High Tension Perfect with A-A-A-A-A-A at Rank B, and it becomes slightly more lenient at Rank A/S (You can have a B or two, basically.)

That makes sense. I never really bother past rank B or C.
