don't worry about it man anyways as i said earlier all the 961 idols are in fact taking the roles of Estovokian Pilots while all the 765 idols will fight with the Emmerians. not all the 765 idols will be pilots though. In fact Ami Mami and Yayoi are planned to be Resistance fighters in Gracemeria.

seriously man if your upset about the 961 girls being Estovokian im sorry i just thought that someones gotta tell it from there point of view its not like i'm going to make Miki the next X-Chihaya

Miki flies as Stigon 14. so no she's not the new Ilya (yes he was pretty badass). I don't just want to replace the characters from Ace Combat 6 with idols i want the idols to be new characters in the story to help fill in the blanks that the game doesn't cover and also add on to it. For example Garuda 1 doesn't have a wingman at the beggining of the game because his wingmen Chihaya and another pilot were out doing practice manuvers west before the Estovokian suprise attack which explains why he got partnered up with Shamrock. I would tell you were Miki fits in the big picture but that would give away too much.
