It probably would be smarter just to get a 4GB but I have no clue what the download size for games will end up being or what sony has planned (like if you'll be able to convert UMDs to digital, etc.) I'm just planning on that, but it'll probably be smaller or something.

you're best better be getting a 8 gig IMO
16 gb is too much and unnecessary, its like buying an xbox elite and barley touch your xbox.
true, game sizes to vary. the most a game can have is around 1 - 1.5GB which are suzumiya haruhi no yakusoku, im@s, crisis core, and god of war. other games like ace combat, tales series, gundam games and monster hunter freedom and unite are like 500-700 mb (still dunno the memory size for project diva)
but you can always just delete games from your memory and add new ones if you dont like em or want to play something else but dont have enough memory space. of course your game savedata will be there just not the game.
its ultimatley up to you sir
Drunken Watermelon:
But what if you wanted all 3 SP games and dat vocaloid game on your memory stick?
Custom music for dat vocaloid game.
The tiny DLC that's always less than 1MB?
...Videos!
Nanashi:
Apparently... SP is going to get a completely new song. :o
Its title is 君はメロディ/Kimi ha Melody (spelling unconfirmed) and it seems to be coming as soon as next month's DLC. Although SP DLC will only be released at the very end of the month from now on.
h4ataraxia:
oshi great news
link plz
Nanashi:
I don't have any 'official' sources to link to I'm afraid, but they'll be coming soon enough. For now it's only some blogs and 2ch reporting that it was announced at a live concert today. The song was also part of the live and apparently it was pretty good. I believe there was also some sort of announcement about a successor of IM@S Radio btw.
