If you have all of them already I wouldn't bother.  Unless new content is confirmed to be in them, but even then it would depend on what was added.  Best Versions are just Greatest Hits - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Best_range  Same game just sold cheaper and under new packaging.  You can see the new packaging here http://www.jp.playstation.com/psp/pspthebest/index.html  Thinking like Namco, the pre-order gifts are to entice people to purchase more DLC.  If you like the song for instance, you might be tempted to buy it for more idols, if you like the accessory, you might purchase the outfit and the rest of the accessories to complete it, etc.

buy a version of psp the best and it comes with overmaster dlc for the characters inside along with an accessory for free.

School uniform took...was it 10 months? before it came out for sale.

If they release it for all characters will probably depend on sales IMO. If a lot of people are buying it just for the song they'll definitely cash in on releasing it for all Idols. 961 Pro should get it atleast, they already have the song in the game files. Plus, Haruka, Takane, Hibiki and Miki already know the lyrics. 961 Pro sings it on the radio and Haruka sings a few lines of it at various times in her story.

I think they should release a 961 Pro version + Overmaster.
Set it after the other 3 games but before Im@s DS, so it can bridge the gap.
...Then you entice people further by including a pre-release picture of awakened Miki

Lets face it...they have 961 Pro listed in the 'Buy Mail' page, so we know they have or had plans for it
As for extra 4th character...completing Miki-Awakened mode's story could make that version a choice. Then they don't need to change the DLC menu

That's true, Haldo, but a possible prelude is 961 got to her before 765 thus making her join the former instead.

if miki goes ssj then she'd basically do anything P says and just straight come back to 765 productions and then just dominate the whole idol ultimate by herself, which would make it boring and unfair without a challenge.

the only info given was said by gamiP(producer of NBGI) who said that the 765 idols will return and that hes not allowed to say anything else.
that is the only official information given about the upcoming game thats going to be announced in summer 2010. rest is all speculation and what fans want.

though obviously and most likely they will be in the im@s 2...they should or else japan deserves to get nuked again, this time with a warhead hydrogen bomb.

Is there any word on what will happen to the Puchimasu campaign once they go through all 12 idols?

1-2 and 4-10 cover 765 Pro
4 and 11 ( and probably 12 ) cover 961 Pro

There's 1 for each catalogue so could it be a hint that DLC will be ending soon?
They could extend it 1 more with Kotori

So possibly catalogue 12 or 13 could be the last one?

The main game had 12
While L4U had 17 or 12 depending on how you look at it ( 13-17 were just ported over SP content )

Now SP is about to reach that magic number 12 next month, could it be the last catalogue?

I'm actually wondering the same, if it will be the last.  I'm not so sure though since all the recent dresses have been pulled from the Xbox DLC.  Just like SP content allowed the Xbox DLC to extend it a couple more catalogs, I'd have to assume the same with SP.  I mean it wouldn't be that hard either, there are some dresses like the cheerleader, nightgown, etc. that IMO wouldn't be that complicated to recreate in PSP form.  Plus with Best Versions coming out to get more players, they could probably milk it a little longer just recycling xbox content.  Plus we haven't gotten overmaster, i, or any of the remixed tunes.  So there's probably enough content sitting around to make DLC ride out till the next major console release.  I dunno though.
