I love Yayoi's version (since for some reason she sings it like she just got dumped or something)
Hibiki's is probably the best out of all of them though.

Considering the pac-man problem in the game, honestly surprised they choose to make a slow song.

WHY CANT THEY AT LEAST MAKE AN UPDATE FOR LIP SYNCH? or at least make it so that on the hi notes they keep their mouths open
last time i checked i cant sing hi notes while opening and closing my mouth like im chewing gum or chasing after glowing ghosts.

Well, I don't think they'd stop slow songs all together because of the lipsynch issue XD Considering that SP is the only "active" iM@S game, that's there only way to get it out there besides putting it on a CD...

I actually like it a lot, though. Maybe it's due to my earphones, but on my PSP the BGM seems to drown out some of the voices. :s I wouldn't let the chewing gum face effect change my opinion of the song XD

I like Ami's version (though it's iffy at some parts), and Yayoi's version is really cute. LOVE Takane's.
edit: Actually...a lot of them are good, though I haven't listened to them ALL. I even like Iori's.

I'm just saying I'd rather have something more upbeat with a distracting dance that avoids highlighting the pac-man affect.  Genki Tripper would have been amazing for the portable IMO.

Oh yes, I prefer upbeat songs as well (generally, not just because they usually hide the nonexistent lipsynch XD). I'm just saying that even with the distraction of the pac-man effect, Mata Ne is a pretty good song imo.

and Genki Torippa would be amazing to see, I wish they'd actually do it XD

DLC has been average across the board IMO.  I'm not looking forward to next month because I know it's going to be that Kamisama song.  Most likely what Taco told me before, they'll probably include that holiday dress.

I've been staring at the Dengeki page for a while.  Is the Holy Night Dress different for each character?  I'm seeing like 4 versions of it on that page.  At least one more catalog has to be guaranteed next month for a Hibiki puchimasu.  Especially if they're putting a Takane one in this catalog.

Confirms the Best Version of the game next month, but it looks like OVERMASTER is coming out next month for catalog 12, which is coming out 1/27?  Seems like if you buy a version of the game, you get the idol's version of the song and a head accessory.  BUT if you look at the accessory you get for Wandering Star, it's not available in any of the current catalogs.  However, if you dig through L4U catalogs to see what it belongs to, it's the accessory for パンキッシュゴシック AKA that super special awesome goth outfit:

Oh and, yeah there does appear to be more than 1 version of the Holy Night Dress.
Hibiki and Takane have the Red/White swapped ( where it's red for Hibiki, it's white for Takane )
Hibiki has a green 4 leaf clover
Takane has a blue 4 leaf clover
Makoto's neck is different, she has a green ribbon with thick stripes
Iori's got stripes and no shoulder pads and a small green ribbon
Yukiho has stripes with shoulder pads and a big green ribbon with thin stripes
Haruka's ( based on the buying menu picture ) is plain with a thick long yellow ribbon

Not really, compare Iori.
In that video clip hers is pure red.
In the PSP images, it has a pattern

At 0:18 you can see Yukiho's arm, and it has no pattern. Yet the PSP images show a pattern.

Cause of the quality its hard to say, but there appears to be no pattern on Makoto's neck, yet the PSP images show a pattern.

So I believe the outfits are being changed to 1 per character.

Old = they keep the xbox 360 outfit
New = they get a new outfit

Nope.  Ovemaster won't be up to buy until a few more catalogs later.  Like any other pre-order gift.

I'd find it ridiculous if Namco were to do that.  To be 12 catalogs in, introducing the best versions, only to still have no Overmaster.  If 2/3rds of the accessory gifts weren't already existing items, I'd believe that.  However it just looks like recycling what will be existing items as presents, not a pre-order bonus like the school wear.  Until Namco proves me wrong, I'm still looking forward to Catalog 12
