I've rented Front Mission Evolved, since I feel like going on a mecha binge since playing Armored Core for Answer.
It's not a bad game, but some of the voicework is overdramatic, aiming is a little bit odd, and when you're not "skating", your wanzer moves pathetically slow. Then again, this is my first experience with any Front Mission game, since I'm not much of a SRPG guy, so I'm not familiar with the wanzers.

Still waiting for Fire Emblem DS (second game), even I forgot how to play the "oldest version".

Got Battlefield: Bad Company 2 yesterday. It's really fun and addicting. No wonder the New York Times called it better than Modern Warfare 2. I also got the Vietnam pack for it as well.

It's a shame I like a game which gameplay hasn't really evolved within the past 5 years :( I somehow admit that
On another note, due to my crappy CPU (or maybe the programmer's fault) even Dynasty Warriors 6 can't run smoothly on my rig, so maybe I'll pass that one
On an unrelated post, have anyone tried Magicka from Pandora Interactives (or something like that)?
I swear, for an indie game, it asks too much. Call of Duty Black Ops requires at least nVIDIA GeForce 8600GT. This indie game requires AT LEAST nVIDIA GeForce 8800GT, for graphics that is far less awesome
I have to admit it could be because they used detailed particle effects for every single spell. But if you ask for something higher than what a great company asked for much more awesome graphics, you pretty much failed
And the spells are not that close up either
