Recettear? Oh man, I should play that sometime. EGS's games have always been great.
I played the Phantasy Star Portable 2 demo a bit and it was kinda cool. About the time it ended, I discovered the Saber + Pistol combo, and was reminded of Devil May Cry. That made me happy. It actually seemed more natural to me, too, opening up with a shot, closing in, then shooting anytime I needed to sidestep.
Splurge time is drawing near for me, though. I should make a frothing demand list, and figure out what games I have that I haven't beat yet.

Heh. I just saw that news about the new DMC, and I wouldn't worry about that much. I can bet some money now that our black-haired Dante will be revealed as an impostor later on in said game.
