Finished Modern Warfare 2 in 4-5 hours (Lost count, it was DST changeover here). Great game, crud story, found the in-jokes hilarious.

Also saddened that IW is breaking up because Activision is being an ass. That effectively means Treyarch might be doing future Call of Duty games...and I HATE Treyarch...

Yea, because apparently Activision's idea of celebrating the biggest entertainment launch in history is to fire key members of the studio that made the game. I completely fail to see what Activision is trying to achieve here, and I do hope that IW perseveres through this.

I have to wonder why people love Infinity Ward, but absolutely despise Treyarch? I rather liked their COD games. They're making the next one, too, which from what I hear is going to be quite interesting; I've been waiting for a good Vietnam War-based FPS for a while. :)
I've been playing a lot of Modern Warfare 2 multiplayer recently for some reason, and I just picked up Bad Company 2 and played a bit of multiplayer with Scotty and h4ataraxia a couple of nights ago. Playing BC2 is much different than in MW2; your character actually feels like he has weight/inertia when he's moving, so it will take some getting used to. Also more realistic; no regenerating health or any of the other silly stuff in MW2 means you need to be more strategic... and VEHICLES! Vehicles you can actually drive! Being nose gunner for Scotty's helicopter was a blast, that's for sure. ;D

I bought Borderlands. It's really good but after reading Cien's post, I should've picked up Bad Company 2 instead. :(

Im putting money on a third MW. America invades Russia is what im thinking will happen. Then some intricate plot twist happens where you discover the entire war was set up by some other country who hired Makarov to cause the US vs Russia War. just a thought
