Think I heard that it wouldn't have fit on a 2GB cart, so they would've had to get 4 GB carts which are only produced in Japan (and more expensive). Don't quote me on that, though.

I've seen better translations in Oboro Muramasa. Please tell me everything they left out went into the B and A supports. I doubt it.

Yeah, this is a crock of shit. Let's belay the original context with "..." exchanges because ninjas are silent LOL. What makes it worse is that apparently the other conversations (B, A, S levels) were mostly unchanged, so the dialogue assumes that the original C conversation happened; thus, it makes even less sense.
Then again, this localization has bigger offenders, what with changing someone into a fucking pickle lover. Bring on the fansub, already.

Regardless of how certain supports are butchered (gay supports come into mind), I rather take the localization over the fan translation. I found it unreliable quite frankly though I appreciate the effort.
Also, I'm tired with the whining about Fire Emblem Fates' localization. I have a hard time sympathizing with the knee-jerking responses I've been seeing quite lately. I just stopped caring at this point.

Seconded.
At this point, I feel like people are actively trying to find ways to make this seem like a bigger issue than it already is. We get it, the localization is iffy. But I feel like it isn't a big deal.

I think the only thing I could complain about is "How do I get the neutral path without paying for a DLC?". Although it's not like it make a difference since I decided to buy the special edition with all the 3 games. But I hope Atlus game don't go that way.
As for the changes and... polemics (xD), well it's sort of strange, but not that dramatic. Of course, it is just my way to see it.
