Games, Games, GAMES!! (Besides iDOLM@STER, of course XD)

So, Volition have streamed an early prototype of a cancelled PSP Saints Row game (some of you might remember that Opeth mentioned it in one of their announcements since they were supposed to be in the soundtrack, but they forgot they were under NDA - it was the only mention of the game ever). It didn't look great, sure. But as it happens with such buggy things, it was hilarious to watch.

And then at the end of the stream they dropped the bomb: They were OKed to upload the ISO and share it on Unseen64.

Not much more than a curiosity (and a small piece of gaming history), but I just love to see earlier versions of games, so it's right up my alley.

Currently playing too many games lol. Smartphone games like Chain Chronicle Jp server. Hortensia Saga, New world and starlight stage is killing my playtime for my 3ds and wii u game here hiks.

And here, i still need to finish legend of legacy, fossil fighter frontier, aikatsu 2 and xenoblade chronicle X..... I am doomed.

And to think the only thing I'm waiting for is Xcom 2.

The impressive part I've found is the sheer number of modding tools available on release, so I'm secretly (or not so) hoping that we'll see someone do absurd things like try to mod in the im@s cast with chainsaws (if anyone remembers that set of pictures) among other things.

Comes out in a week, and well, yeah, you'll know where I'll be.

It'll give me some time to consider what I'll be doing for platinum stars. I think although I've managed an emergency scrape (some parts of the server are busted unfortunately) the cost of entry and the rest of it is so low that I think someone younger, with more money and time could probably pick up doing requests/compendium and the rest of it.

We would greatly appreciate it if you could assist us on the gameplay mechanics/strategies just like you did for Im@s 2 and OFA.  Of course, there's no obligation since everyone has their own business and life to attend to.  But, just giving a suggestion.

My problem is that I don't actually own a PS4, and I've only successfully salvaged enough to be able to stream, not record at my usual quality levels.

It'll take quite a while for me to find the money to do so - I may end up preordering the game, but not the console (as weird as it sounds) and I may end up several months to a year behind everyone else.

That's assuming I'll commit at all - im@s content is expensive, and unfortunately creating a properly designed compendium dictates you have to have everything (for creating the database and providing the screenshots), and since you have everything, there's an inordinate amount of pressure to turn into a video making machine.

As I said, I'm going to think about my future decision, because it's incredibly unfair to expect anyone else to fund the operation (besides, how much money would a pateron actually GET, as one person suggested to me, seriously?) but I don't make enough money (or much at all) to just shrug off the costs like they weren't there.

The demand's only there as long as it's free, because when you think about it, there's costs involved.

But to get back to the topic at hand, I don't know how interested people would be here for X-com really. I suspect that a lot of the gaming I do isn't interesting to people in this forum though.
