i'm really looking forward to Shining Resonance, the game looks very promising.
Does anyone else intend to get it?

Otherwise i'm currently playing Ar Nosurge. I want to finish this before i finally do the second EX episodes im@s DLC pack, and i want to finish that before shining resonance comes out. And while commuting i'm playing Tales of Hearts R.

And a bit of FFXIV with friends too.. and Project Diva 2nd f will be released in europe this week too.

... Yup, that's God Eater before God Eater Burst. I'm not going through that again.

I just picked up Burst on a whim because it was 8 bucks, but I wouldn't have bought it otherwise, since I knew what the original played like. Thankfully, I was pleasantly surprised - it's not often that a series saves itself in my eyes.

And there's one-shot insta-kills in this game? That's pretty lame. Insta-kills are very close to a cardinal sin to me. It's one of my pet peeves.

Well, now that I think about it, there's only one real insta-kill - when a robot grabs you, scrunches you up into a ball, and slams you to the ground.  It's interruptible.  The hard stuff are the human-sized opponents that track you with their never-miss lasers and rapid-fire guns.  One of these days, a dev will learn to program "human-like" behavior into a game, which includes missing.

Picked up my copy of Alpha Sapphire at a midnight launch.  Wasted some time getting lost on the way back, so I dunno how much I'll be playing tonight.

Does anyone play card collecting games on the JP Mobage and GREE sites other than the Idolm@ster mobile games?

I got bored one day and decided to poke around the games on GREE and found a card collecting game based on the Samurai Girls series (Hyakka Ryouran: Samurai Girls) that I've been enjoying (for some reason you claim multiple rewards a day and I've gotten A LOT of tickets after only playing for 3-4 days; not sure if this is for all new players or its because the game is new or its just always like that but its pretty cool I guess). It also lets you pick three characters that you click through as you do the missions or whatever you wanna call them similar to Million Live. This is my group of three on the game:

I've tried a couple other games, but I either couldn't get them to work or couldn't figure out what to do (since I know absolutely no Japanese). Since I've been having fun messing around with the Samurai Girls game, though, I'll probably poke around a bit more sometime when I have less games to play (been playing LoL, Dota 2, Dungeon Defenders, AoEIII, and Terraria with my boyfriend and other friends a lot lately and on top of that I have Pokemon Alpha Sapphire and Farcry 4 to play through and Persona Q comes out really soon)

Been playing ORAS and DFC (Dengeki Bunko Fighting Climax) recently. Playing on a DS3 for a fighting game is suffering.

Some matches from the Dream Duel scenarios:

Dang it, as if Arkham Knight, Guilty Gear, and Kingdom Hearts didn't give me ENOUGH reason to wanna pick one up!

Skies of Arcadia, Samba de Amigo and Soul Calibur

I've heard many great things about those three, but Skies of Arcadia has an enhanced GameCube remake and I already have Soul Calibur on XBLA. Samba de Amigo always interested me, so I'll give that a shot.

If you have the Game Cube Skies of Arcadia, then that's fine. But afaik they didn't make many of those and thus it is quite rare. I have it and it is in my top 5 favorite games of all time.

The problem with Samba de Amigo is, that it is expensive, since you need the extra hardware (maracas and the sensor bar). You can play the game with a controller, but it isn't nearly as much fun. There is also a Wii port using the wii mote instead of the maracas, but it also isn't nearly as much fun as with the original, the maracas really add to the experience.

Is it really rare? I saw Skies of Arcadia for Gamecube at a store in my mall that sells old games for like 12$ and I don't think they're the type of store to sell rare games for cheap considering they were selling Shin Megami Tensei: Digital Devil Saga for almost 100$.

I live in Europe, so i don't know about the rarity in the states, but considering the prices on eBay or Amazon...

http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_nkw=skies+of+arcadia+gamecube&_armrs=1&_from=&_ipg=
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B00007KUUD/retrogamingwi-20

I'd say that shop of yours simply has no idea ;) If you have a Gamecube or a Wii and a Gamecube controller, and if you like JRPGs, i suggest you go and buy that game.

Especially this part:

There are very few rare games for the system, but in the future the value of these games will get higher as Gamecube games were produced in few numbers in Europe. The most rare PAL games for the system are Mario Baseball and Skies Of Arcadia Legends...
