Interesting selection. I'm especially intrigued by Ring of Red, being that the historical concept and tactical turn-based combat are strong suits to my liking, a fondness started by Vandal Hearts. This game seems evidently praised, so there's also that. The only thing is whether or not I can make time to actually watch a stream throughout. Oh, such complications~.
Say... more onto the PS2, have you gotten around to play Shadow of the Colossus? If not, then I deem it one hell of a gem; first and foremost, the concept and art direction is beautiful. The movement and climbing mechanics are also unwieldy, but far more realistic than any game I've played thus far -- it's a love and hate thing, yet it makes one feel human.
Well, Ring of Red (PAL) has this weird thing with its video output. I can stream it, but they did some REALLY funky stuff with the framerate. I think it likes switching between various framerating, and it confuses my scaling equipment a little bit.
I'm still open to streaming it, but there'll be times where the video will load late and you'd get a blank screen for a little while.
It requires planning, which means of course, I'm going to decimate the game. I don't know if anyone wants to watch me do that.
I've been asked to stream Valkryia Chronicles 3, so I don't know how interested people would be watching and asking questions about that.
As for Shadow of the Colossus, I wanted to pick up the PS3 remaster, although I finished the PS2 initial release (as part of work of course). I also had dinner with the composer at A night in Fantasia 2009 (Which was also the same event Takashi (sorry, spelling error) was at doing a live performance of Torani ni... with the Eminence Symphony Orchestra.
Ah, the joy of years gone past.
Sad thing is, that I normally commit to Atelier titles - I should pick up Atelier Rorona Plus (And Escha and Logy) in English, although I own both of them in Japanese because of expected destructive playthroughs, and I have to arrange for Shallie to be brought in next month... (Just the shipping, since I arranged for the pack to be paid for months ago)
Then there's the purchase of im@s DLC to schedule in. This month AND next month is going to be stupidly expensive, but I know why.
Yeah, I'm going to be spread thin for the next few months. Budgeting is a nice skill, but sometimes you really do wish it started raining money.
