I finished the game a few days ago as well. Survivor difficulty is a complete pain (don't even bother with most shiv doors, as the amount of loot is next to nothing and not worth the resources for a shiv), not to mention you can't start a NG+ on it until after it's completed. I've put off completing that run for now, not to mention the game makes my PS3 wail like a banshee. I also found it weird that Joel can't sprint for the parts where you'd actually want to (ie. not combat), instead, he does the slowest jog in the world. It's definitely one of the better games I've played, but the game really drags itself out more than it needs to (see previous comment). I also agree that clickers are incredibly annoying; they always seem to spot you even though they shouldn't, although I find that sneaking up to runners is more of a crapshoot (they always seem to spot me when I try to sneak up to them). [/rant]
I find the whole sprinting thing annoying as well, but after playing a bit of survivor, I feel I may need to restart, I've been too lenient with my resources. I cannot believe how many problems I am having with ammo and health packs, I think I've only been able to get 3 health packs thus far and I am already at the museum. Clickers seem to be able to hear me when I'm not doing ANYTHING. Runners seem to have eyes in the back of their heads or something to be able to spot me the way they do. I'm waiting to see the running bloaters. I think this playthrough will take a while...

Turns out my router chokes when anyone visits- I can only go visit other people.  Oh well.  Restarted a few days ago because I was tired of trying to drive away almost the entire town, but my new layout is great.  I need to find someone to bum some fruit off of.

Not sure about timezones, but I can leave my gate open for most of Saturday if you want to drop buy and grab the fruit.

Finally (\o/) beat Touhou 06 (using Reimu Hakurei A and Marisa Kirisame B). Using a X Box controller for COMP make things easier. Though it was on normal mode (I'm a newbie on that danmaku and this is the first game I play). And... it's so pretty hard). Buuuuut... extra stage made me surrender and admit defeat. :|

Wow! I actually find it easier to use the keyboard, it sort of reminds me of playing at an arcade machine.

And now for the kicker.

... I actually found Koumakan to be the easiest I've played. At the very least, it has the easiest Normal mode (don't quote me on Lunatic, never tried it).

Ehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh... in my case, using a controller just remind me of... no, I just used to play more with it (since Super Nintendo). A keyboard kinda make me feel slow.

Ehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh... I see. I still intend to play more of the Touhou series (next, Perfect Cherry Blossom), so maybe I can see some differences. Maybe try on lunatic mode too.

IL-2 1946. The latest patch just came out and my friends and I have been having a blast doing co-op sorties. Been fooling around with a mod that skins a MiG-9 to resemble Haruka's F-22 livery, and it's awesome. The same guy had previews of a Yukiho Me-262, and he was working on a He-162 for one of the idols, but it's been over two years and not a peep from him. :( I've been trying to skin a A6M3 Zero with Chihaya decals, but I'm not that good.  :'(

You mean IŁ-2 Sturmovik? The realistic plane game?
If so, never been into it that much myself, but it's nice to see people still playing that.
Would be afraid that it gets forgotten.

The people that play these kind of games are likely to stick to it for years, though. ;-)

That's right. IL-2 Sturmovik 1946. Cliffs of Dover is the newest incarnation, but its release was plagued by bugs and other technical issues. It's all patched up now and is a good flight sim, but I believe 1946 is superior in all elements except graphics. '46 has much more content to boot, and I don't think CoD will surpass it. So I don't think IL-2 '46 will be forgotten until a new IL-2 appears that acquires the same playerbase as the original. I came into the game relatively recently (2009-ish), but many of the buddies I play with have been in the community since it came out in 2001. It's my WW2 sim of choice.
