Out of curiosity, why did you decide to get White 2 and not Black 2? According to the popularity of guides on gamefaqs.com, White 2 is even less popular than White 1, and I find that a bit interesting.
People were saying to get the sequel that matches the version you originally bought, and I got White because I liked the look of Zekrom but not Reshiram. (I eventually caved and got both because I could not bear to not be able to evolve the shiny Karrablast I accidentally bred).
To be honest, most of the differences between White 2 and Black 2 are "toe-may-toe, toe-mah-toe", with one key exception: each version has "keys" that you can unlock and send to other games via infrared. Completing White 2 unlocks the Easy Mode key and completing Black 2 unlocks the Hard Mode key. So you can finish White 2, then blast through Black 2 on easy mode, or finish Black 2, then play White 2 with extra challenge. Most people would do the latter, so I regretted my decision a little bit. Of course it's easier to just let someone else go first and then use their key. I'm not sure if keys can be traded between same versions.
I caved and got Black 2 a week later... it's because I want to use one cartridge as a perma save file and the other to mess around with. But I'm sure the Idolmaster community would not disapprove of buying all the flavors, right?
