Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City is pretty big mixed reviews game. I like playing the game with my friends, but the Multiplayer is kind of bad in my opinion. It's not as simple as most games as you can expect.

I just got Radiant Historia in the mail today- still working through the Devil Survivor 2 endings, though.  I need to save a portable game for my next trip- debating which one to hold off on.  If it's too good, I might not be able to fall asleep on the road...

Yeah, I don't want to spoil others if they don't want to know. Are you playing it by any chance, though? Vanguards are awesome. For a while.

Nope, don't have it.  I didn't play ME or ME2, so I've missed out on the whole thing.

Edit: Started up another Oregon Trail IM@S playthrough.

Takane drowned, Makoto died from the measles, Hibiki died from dysentery, Yukiho got exhausted from seeing everyone die and died, and Producer #2 died of typhoid.

Next is Ryuuguu Komachi + Mami. 80% sure they're not gonna get to Oregon, either.

And just as a reminder...

Ahhh, it reminds me of the good old days when I played that game on the really old Macintosh computers... Should really try it out one of these weekends for the lolz.

Edit: did one as I booted up my Power Mac G3, which had an older copy of the game... and here is the results...

Disclaimer: No members from 961 Pro were harmed in this parody of Oregon Trail.
I can download Oregon Trail where? :3

The Oregon Trail idea is funny.
But have you tried The Organ Trail?
http://hatsproductions.com/organtrail.html
Same idea, and it's probably a bit watered down and not as difficult as the Oregon Trail, but survive the zombies!
My run through - Producer and Chihaya made it all the way, Haruka and Miki were bitten by zombies and killed, and Makoto wandered off somewhere :/
And those three "died" literally when we were 2/3rds of the way there.  -.-
Enjoy!
Must learn Japanese one of these days ... T_T

This arrived in the mail today:

Will be playing a lot of DoDonPachi DaiOuJou to start. :D

Aside from that, I'm Achievement hunting on Ys Oath in Felghana.

A lot of Falcom and Cave gaming for me lately, I guess. And the Falcom-chan and Cave-chan DLC just came out for Neptune Mk2. Maybe I should start playing that now. XD

Whoa whoa where'd the DOJ EXTRA come from?  I have no idea where to find it (and it's usually horribly expensive when I do find it).

Ah, okay. And I just tried Organ Trail with Producer, Haruka, Chihaya, Miki, and Yayoi.

Haruka got sick, Chihaya suffered both exhaustion and cholera, Miki suffered cholera, and I ran out of all of my money. And Yayoi got bit by a zombie, but Producer was hesitant to use the Colt M1911 he got from Washington DC to execute such a sweet girl, treating her with medkits in the hope that she would get better.

I could see the scene now:
Producer stopping the car, telling a sick Yayoi to get out.
Yayoi kneeling on the floor, crying, while Producer aims the pistol to her head.
Chihaya desperately pleading Producer to not do it while Haruka and Miki have to hold her, because they know that Chihaya would get between Producer and Yayoi, and that they know that it would be the end of everyone if a zombie was inside the car.
Bang.
Producer deliberately aims the pistol upwards and pulls the trigger. He quietly goes back to the car, throws a medkit to a sobbing Chihaya, and tells the three of them to treat Yayoi as best as they could.
Inside, Producer nearly breaks down for doing such a thing. He wonders if he made the right choice.

And it was the right choice, because she did get better. And then a tearful apology between Producer and Yayoi in Oregon.

(So much bullets, I can't shoot them all)

Also fought through the zombie hordes, and I just lost 2 medkits only when zombies overwhelmed the car (that was a close call). Finding food was the hard part, and I nearly ran out of it at points in the game. But hey, everyone is safe and sound in Oregon.

So, long story short, everyone survived. And thank god I didn't need to tell Yayoi's family that she didn't make it in zombie-infested America.

Finished ME3.

Terrible.

Moving on to some portable games. Don't know what. Waiting for Kid Icarus. Might get around to getting some DLC for Rhythm Party. I'm a glutton for punishment.

ME3...I know that feeling all too well. Also, just out of curiosity, which class did you play, Scotty?

---

Anyway, there is the Thule Trail if you don't want your idols going through 1840's America or zombie-infested America, although I can't find a link.

Started another Oregon Trail play through with 961 Production again, but in the sequel, which is considerably harder than the original game... not sure I'm going to survive this one.

Edit: Did a Ryuuguu Komachi run, and it took longer than last time since I took my good old time.

I won it in an Ebay auction, for 80 bucks.

And more games just arrived in the mail today too:

You know, I had thought about that...even though Yayoi turned out fine (there's health bars on everyone, and zombification occurs when health runs out), there was still a green skull to mark that she had been bitten. Is she really fine, or have I transported the infection to another place?

Engineer.

I played Vanguard. Pretty simple.

For most enemies, it was Biotic Charge, then either:
-Shotgun with AP rounds to the face
-Shockwave
-Nova
-Heavy Melee

For turrets and mechs: Heavy Pistol with AP rounds.

I hated the Brutes and Banshees. Especially the Banshees.

Great, just thought of all the idols and which class they may have in Mass Effect:

Soldier- Haruka, Miki, Ritsuko
Adept- Chihaya, Yayoi
Engineer- Ami, Mami, Eri
Infiltrator- Yukiho, Takane, Ryou
Vanguard- Makoto, Hibiki, Ai
Sentinel- Iori, Azusa

Well, as Engineer, here was my strategy:

*Throw Combat Drone, turret, walk away*

Very challenging indeed.

Oh wow, that is deadly...and with not that much work, too. Vanguards need a lot more working on in order to be truly effective. Then again, it seems like there's some trick to making any class powerful in ME3.

More Colonization goodness. I really am a turtling type of player, I can't land in the middle of a French-Spanish dispute and thrive... but land in the good ol' Newfoundland and I'll be peachy n' well-rooted in a few tens of turns. Doesn't help that my favorite power is Dutch.

Also played some IDAS6AA later in the day. Some chump left enough credits for 5 games. Oh well, I put the credits to good use and said hello to my new dark red R32. I think I'll name it Haruka :3
