SakuraMaxX:
Whoa whoa where'd the DOJ EXTRA come from? I have no idea where to find it (and it's usually horribly expensive when I do find it).

The Oregon Trail idea is funny.
But have you tried The Organ Trail?

Same idea, and it's probably a bit watered down and not as difficult as the Oregon Trail, but survive the zombies!
My run through - Producer and Chihaya made it all the way, Haruka and Miki were bitten by zombies and killed, and Makoto wandered off somewhere :/
And those three "died" literally when we were 2/3rds of the way there. -.-
Enjoy!

Ah, okay. And I just tried Organ Trail with Producer, Haruka, Chihaya, Miki, and Yayoi.
Haruka got sick, Chihaya suffered both exhaustion and cholera, Miki suffered cholera, and I ran out of all of my money. And Yayoi got bit by a zombie, but Producer was hesitant to use the Colt M1911 he got from Washington DC to execute such a sweet girl, treating her with medkits in the hope that she would get better.
I could see the scene now:
Producer stopping the car, telling a sick Yayoi to get out.
Yayoi kneeling on the floor, crying, while Producer aims the pistol to her head.
Chihaya desperately pleading Producer to not do it while Haruka and Miki have to hold her, because they know that Chihaya would get between Producer and Yayoi, and that they know that it would be the end of everyone if a zombie was inside the car.
Bang.
Producer deliberately aims the pistol upwards and pulls the trigger. He quietly goes back to the car, throws a medkit to a sobbing Chihaya, and tells the three of them to treat Yayoi as best as they could.
Inside, Producer nearly breaks down for doing such a thing. He wonders if he made the right choice.
And it was the right choice, because she did get better. And then a tearful apology between Producer and Yayoi in Oregon.
(So much bullets, I can't shoot them all)
Also fought through the zombie hordes, and I just lost 2 medkits only when zombies overwhelmed the car (that was a close call). Finding food was the hard part, and I nearly ran out of it at points in the game. But hey, everyone is safe and sound in Oregon.
So, long story short, everyone survived. And thank god I didn't need to tell Yayoi's family that she didn't make it in zombie-infested America.

Terrible.
Moving on to some portable games. Don't know what. Waiting for Kid Icarus. Might get around to getting some DLC for Rhythm Party. I'm a glutton for punishment.

ME3...I know that feeling all too well. Also, just out of curiosity, which class did you play, Scotty?

Anyway, there is the Thule Trail if you don't want your idols going through 1840's America or zombie-infested America, although I can't find a link.
JNiles:
That's not the ending I pictured... zombie Yayoi going all Asagohan! on your ass. ;D
chikorita157:
Started another Oregon Trail play through with 961 Production again, but in the sequel, which is considerably harder than the original game... not sure I'm going to survive this one.
Edit: Did a Ryuuguu Komachi run, and it took longer than last time since I took my good old time.

I won it in an Ebay auction, for 80 bucks.
And more games just arrived in the mail today too:
Too many Cave games to catch up on! D:
