Bought the 360 Dark Souls, it's pretty bad. I've already  thrashed the game to death on PS3, so I'm not really interested in playing the inferior 360 version.

Played a bit of Demon's Crest since SDA was speedrunning it.

Contemplating buying Radiant Silvergun and/or Guardian Heroes since I finally can, but I just know it'll go on sale immediately after I buy it.

Hmm, just out of curiosity then, who here is around SL. 115 in Dark Souls? For my last trophy I just need to get the second ending and currently just need to beat New Londo and Giant's Tomb again before fighting Gwyn. Anyone interested in lending a hand to make things go faster?

Playing more Cave Story+. I'm getting better at the Sanctuary. My best time is just over 6 minutes, which isn't really good, but still.

How many concepts from the original game do you think will return?  I only just recently heard about this remake.

Hmm, there was an article written about it on a gaming magazine. This is what I remember.

-Firaxis Games are developing the game.

-There's still a map of the whole globe that takes place in real-time, while the combat is turn-based.

-Soldiers can permanently die, and they seem to be customizable, given that I saw a picture on that magazine where it showed a menu that listed an option for first name, last name, nickname, and various customization options, such as hair styles and whatnot.

-Research is definitely in.

-Still the remote tanks out there.

-You only have one major base (which you have a view of it from the side instead of top down), but you can put up listening posts and satellite coverage.

-At least, Sectoids, Mutons, and Cyberdisks are back (with new looks and functions). Also, a new alien was introduced: the Thin Man. It looks like an unusually elongated person that has the ability to jump very high, spit acid, and also blow up into acid chunks when dead.

-Time Units have been replaced with a system of move+action or move+move. Ammo is now a non-issue, but you still need to reload, and that takes an action.

-Cover is available, although I'm not sure if it was destructible or not.

-There's a 4-man mission limit at the beginning, but higher soldier limits are possible with upgrades.

-Rookies don't have predetermined stats: you have to level them up a bit before finding out their specializations.

-There seems to be an experience bonus if you can finish a mission while keeping everyone alive.

That's all I remember so far. Looks like it's gonna be a good game.

Well, when I get home, I'm gonna start playing S.T.A.L.K.E.R.

Can't right now because I only have 10 minutes before I have to leave for school.

then i'm sure you can answer this question ;):
as i understand (and for now it also looks like it) Clannad is a romantic non-ero visual novel. How about the other works of Key (i think they most famous ones would be Kanon and Air)?

I have Kanon. It is great. ~ <3
The ero scenes are completely avoidable (except for one route I believe). However I played them through and it's played out and written nicely (you actually bond with said character and you can tell it's a love thing).

I haven't played it yet, but Air is also ero I believe. But they have a way of making that work. Their writing is really good so it doesn't feel like a corny eroge.

ok, then i'll probably check out Kanon when i'm done with Clannad, but that will most probably take a looong time if you want to do all paths and the after story

Which S.T.A.L.K.E.R. game are you playing? I could help, even though it's been a while since I played it.

Also, been playing the Metal Gear Solid HD collection. Man, I remember being able to sneak around people in MGS2, and now I couldn't....and Peace Walker is taking up too much of my time.

Edit:
And I'm kinda excited about Resident Evil 6. Seems like the story will be spread out between characters. But I'm kinda sad that it strayed out far from its original roots. Oh well, I enjoyed RE4 and RE5, and I'm geared up for Revelations.

I honestly wasn't expecting RE6, but it's almost the entire year before it comes out...

And I've just been playing Hyperdimension Neptunia now, prepping for the 2nd one at the end of February.

How are you liking it?  I set it aside and never picked it up again after suffering the infamous recruitment bug.  I'm sitting on the sidelines for the 2nd until someone tells me it's actually good.
