Okay, lemme put my left hand behind my back. Okay shoot shoot shoot... and I need to switch back and WTF my targeting crosshairs just went wild?!?

Still needs some work, but it could still be a good game (only played a level at a friend's house). I still applaud it for creativity and style points - the industry needs more stuff like this.

... It's like they took Rez HD, then actually displayed something other than line art in HD. ^_^

Never had those problems. Perhaps it was his setup? I'm so pro at it! (I can't beat the Hope Archive ;___; )

Fuu I can't buy Forza 4 and Assault Horizon right now, Pentavision just announced that they will disclose more information on the DJMAX Technika 3 Signature Collection.  I'd rather blow $50 or whatever it'll be (depending on what's inside) on random goodies for Technika 3 (especially if there are any good limited edition member cards) than on Assault Horizon at the moment :P

Scotty, in regards to the previous question I asked on IRC, I was asking if you saw any advantage of Type A control (switch hands to switch weapons) over using Type B (clap hands to switch weapons)?  I'm sticking with Type A for now, but I don't know if either of them serve a huge advantage or not.

Scotty:
I love Type A more. Arm gets less weary.

I FINALLY got a new laptop. It's a Toshiba with 3GB RAM, and I got it for $330. It works pretty well, if you get rid of those annoying pre-loaded programs on there.

Played the Ace Combat demo.

Pretty to look at, and honestly a little interesting the way they're experimenting with DFM, blending cutscene and gameplay. But unfortunately, that second part doesn't seem that deep, and it's like I have to try to get shaken off. And don't talk to me about the helicopter.

There might be potential in the whole DFM thing (if it weren't so hold your hand, I guess) if you're really going to require people to fly like real world aces to shoot things down, but so far as the demo goes, it's not very developed, and it shows. Style over substance?
