Eh, I'd pay hundreds to be able to play that, thank someone or something you get the chance to
On the other hand...
HOLY MOTHER! GRAND THEFT AUTO IV!
After 3 years of waiting, I finally can play Grand Theft Auto IV at the comfortable 30 fps. And not with bad graphics too:
1280x1024 60Hz
Medium textures for everything (for some reason, Very High water texture looks especially bad and Medium looks awesomesauce...)
16x Anisotropic Filtering
View and Detail Distance: 19
Vehicle Density: 13
vSync: On
Definition: On (screw Gaussian and Motion Blur)
Since I get tearing ALL the time, it must be my CPU (just Intel Core2Duo 2.4GHz) and memory (just 2GB, under Windows 7 :( ), vSync option has no effect to fps, while usually it reduces the GPU performance
I guess I really need to start getting a new hardware...
Another poblem is that I CAN play the game with High textures for everything (and Very High for minor textures like water and shadow) and the fps won't decrease, but the reaction would be so bad I can't counter Dardan (while I have always been can)
And activating Anisotropic Optimization and Triple Buffering from nVIDIA Control Panel screwed the game
Also, Can anyone tell me how to force anti aliasing from nVIDIA Control Panel? The "Override" option disappeared, while it's there for things like CoD 4...

Manage 3D settings > Program control > Add (if it isn't there already)
You should also be able to do a universal override (how reliable that is is up for debate, though.)
I have to pretty much force everything not to vertical sync since my computer pretty much looks like this to stop it overheating in Portal 2...or...anything since I have a pitiful amount of fans in there since the big one broke. I need to try and keep 60fps or lower and most of my games are pretty much "lol nope, have 120fps" and silly shit like that.

Well, it is there already, but the "override" option disappeared just for GTA IV
And it's there for insignificant things like Torque Game Engine and Foreign Legion

vSync actually forces your GPU to go at most 75fps, 60 if you tell your game (or Control panel) that you have 60Hz monitor, or 55, or whatever refresh rate you have.

horraaaay, the PSN is back!
Finally connected my steam and PSN accounts, and I'm just finishing up downloading Portal 2 on my laptop as well. :3 (ps: my steam profile is here). Might see if I can get Recettear tomorrow/later today since I heard that was good (and I just played the demo a bit ago and ofgdkhgkjdfh there are no words to describe it), but other than that iunno what I'll do with steam :V
I've been trying to get Sims 3 working on my laptop since upgrading to 7, but it seems like it doesn't like my video card (good enough to run the game and heck it should, but it's not under the supported cards so it goes and shuts my computer down). Ah well. I'll just hog my sister's computer from time to time. :V
Mind M@ster:
Just saw the trailers for Resident Evil Operation Raccoon City.
And I already want to get it!
