I don't know japanese well.. only few things... I want to play the european or english version of this game...
I have a DS but it's made in USA... even if I'm in Europe, in my store there was this red nintendo that it's made in USA. ANd idol master is only in japanese and I heard it's not region free at all. Is only for japanese consoles DS. ! I really don' t know how to play this game... I can't buy another DS.... or maybe in future (I'm learing japanese) so maybe the next DS I'll buy in japanese.. and I will buy all the games direclty from Japan! But for now.. I really need to learn  japanese well.. how I would wish to be born Japanese..... ;_;

Quote from: iM@S wiki
As the DSi is not region free, a non-Japanese DSi won't be able run the game at all whereas a regular DS or DS Lite has no problem running the game at all, but obviously won't have the QR function due to the hardware lacking a camera or two.

Also, I wouldn't count too much on a western release of iM@S.

If you wish to honestly support iM@S, import it from Play-Asia so Play-Asia could at least show Namco how much people are interested in it.
If you're going to play it, then buy it.  There are no patches to iM@S DS for translation or to get rid of the anti-piracy.

Chances of Idolm@ster being released outside of Japan/Asia is almost zero percent. Just import the game, because pirating im@s games is a big no-no. :3

just get a japanese xbox 360  ~_~
or maybe an asian one ~_~
I just got one but screw the japanese xbox live points  >:(
don't choose free shipping in play-asia.. your 360 might get broken before even getting the cd.
by the way my power cord is fuc*** up (accidentally plugged in 220v and kaboom!)
and the next day the transformer i ordered came ~_~ (the world is screwed up)
by the way all these things we're talking about are off-topic.....

Yep. I got as far as that.
But to keep this thread on topic I suggest moving to the thread where I started the talk about my xbox 360.

How did you manage to plug a 110v connector into a 220v socket?  At least at my place they are of completely different shape. But when attached to a power converter (aka transformer) everything works perfectly.

The auditions.

Nrrrrrrgh.

agreed.

well, that and just... just how boring it is compared to the auditions in SP (and in the xbox one I assume).

The auditions, if not outright tedious, can be pretty much chance based.
I literaly had a 90% for the audition (started at 70%) and it failed me, to add insult to injury it was on one of the "game over" auditions.

Lessons don't really mean that much in this game, do they?

I mean, they affect the initial judge appeal percentage, but you can always get that up by being good at your memory appeals.  And even if you aren't good with those, you no matter what have a 10% chance of winning, right?
