So I fail at 70%, but pass at 40%. I must have the worst luck ever. XD
Lol, this happens to me everywhere.
Success at high risk and failure at low risk.
Fire Emblem to name one;
97% chance to hit a slow armor knight and PHAIL...
And yet, 35% chance to hit the last boss and win and it comes out alright.
I deliberately tried losing a few auditions by spamming bad memories in order to get alt. endings but ended up winning them..
I remember I always tried so hard to find these rare pokemon when I was younger, then when I finally give up and I'm leaving, or I'm passing through that area not focused on that task, I find the damn thing.

So...
Anybody want to bother researching how many copies were ordered?
Because if there weren't a lot, I don't see much reason for a delay/slow shipping of sorts.

I got mine yesterday too. I'm at the part where Ai has to defeat her mom in an audition.

Yukiho's far more appealing in this than in her own route.

probably because they over exaggerate the characters a lot. especially 765 idols.

Alright, finally got my DS game on Thursday. and now that it's the weekend, I actually have time to play it. :D

Vocal lessons will be my downfall XD I'm -sososo- glad there isn't full-out kanji in the lesson, but it takes me a little while to read hiragana/katakana still...so unless I recognize the part of the song immediately, it's pretty hard for me to do it in the time limit.
That's got to be a downer for people who can't read Japanese at all OTZ

Dance lessons are the best, though. Easier than they used to be, even. :)

So, is this our q&a thread for iM@S DS too?

Okay, I just heavily customized my Ryo's camera angles and coreography panels, and did as much lessons as I could. However, my image level is still level 3, and won't increase at all. Is there something I'm missing here?

Wow. Mai, being logically 29 years old by then, is still competiting with auditions? :o

*Edited for spoilers. Some people may not have played the game yet so exercise judgment when posting*

I'm kind of having problems like that, too. Mine's stuck at 5, but moreso than that, whenever I do a lesson, the other 2 image-categories fall. aaaaaalways.
So I'm not really getting any skill from doing lessons XD I use them as easy-tension-boosters more than anything else.

Hello, first of all, sorry my english grammar.. m(_  _) m

I have a question: I have idol master for DS .. but it's in japanese of course... I know a little japanese... but I have a problem...  I don't have idea how to save the game ;__;

When I start I press "SUTORI" (Story) but nothing happen.
Then I press over SUTEJI (Stage) and the game start..
I choice the song, then the outfit, (but I have a problem, when I do 'customize' t-shirt, and say 'ok' then the t-shirt return as it was in origin , without my modification! Seems there's not a way to save things....

And there's always written "NO DATA"ano "NO IDOL" even after I play a song on the stage, after the applause, I have 3 choice, or retry the dance, or the automatic dance, or to return at the main menu, and again, the game restart asking me to choice an 'idol'. And always that word 'no data'.. so it don't save nothing.. ;_;

I wonder if exist some 'tutorial' how to play this game? I don't understand how to insert the dances steps... there's 3 coloured 'squares' but I don't understand... please, can you explain to me the main concept of this game?
Please, can you give me an explanation? I'm really really confused!
Thank you in advance!!

Thank for the help... I still don't understand where to save.. in the very first beginner of the game, there's 4 menu:

Story
Stage
Wi fi
Wireless

When I click on Story mode, don't happen nothing... it return again at the main menù--- I don't know why...

And then I don't find the save menu  ;_;  where I can search it? I'm confused... about the steps... there's somewhere some tutorial? Even a brief explanation could be helpful... I just need to understand... the purpose-the main point... I don't know how to explain... ;_;

For now I just try an emuletor.. but I'll delete very soon, because it don't work well. Few years ago I SUPPLICATED the producer of this game to release an european version for xbox360 ( I would buy even 2 copies of this wonderful game) but they don't want... so when I heard about idol master on DS, I wanna tryed... but it's all in japanese.. and it's not my language.. how I could buy the original? If they want to sell.. they need to release the european verions! I remember that I also signed a petition.. but it don't works.... they don't want to give us idol master.  I hope soon there will be a patch for this save - problem. I  really waiting too much time to play this game.. I really don't understand why they don't want we play it. When It will be release in my country I'll buy it for SURE!
