If I were to lose the game cartridge, I'd also lose my save of the game.
That's terrible, does the DSi have some way to manage save data? It probably doesn't but I'm just wondering.

Really loving Eri's song. Also, do I see flashing lights in the cosmic & funny outfits return in DS? Nice. While I've never played the 360 iM@S, watching the videos always had me missing the flashing lights in SP.

Unless the game is utilizing the SD card, you just get the limited space that is on the Game card. I realy don't know how far ahead they thought about this game or if it is simply the jumping board to introduce game concepts for there next console iterations.

Not that I know of, unless what Mabz said may turn out to be true.
Sadly, one of the disadvantages of having cartridges...

You two just repeated what I said but included SD storage in it, I do know the DSi has SD card capability but it can't back the saves up right?

Nope you can't backup saves without any 3rd party hardware, not sure if there's already a newer version of an Action Replay, or something similar, or if an older version of the thing works on a DSi handheld or DSi games, but you can back up saves of older games with one.

Or you could always use a flash card :0

I agree with you absolutely. The flashing lights on those costumes were part of what made me love them so much :3
I was kinda disappointed when I started SP and realized the costumes didn't light up XD

I've had a DS for years and never lost a game, I mean unless you're really bad with losing things...if nothing else, you could just keep it in the cartridge it came in.

Hopefully we'll be more careful with such an expensive DS game, yes? I'll be terrified if anyone loses iM@S DS XD

But I can go guilty as charged; I have lost 2 DS games before, when I first got my DS. ^^;

It could be, but that'll be illegal regardless if you own the game or not.
Everyone that's been telling you it's legal if you own the game is lying, you're not even allowed to have a "back up".

In some countries, it is legal to have a game backup. As far as in the US, it is legal. Same goes for Canada.
