Greetings everyone, I'm Picup (I've finally crawled out of my hole to start posting here @__@; )
Well first things first (before I start randomly blabbing about myself), it's nice to meet everyone!
Anyways, a bit about myself. Well, I'm a female from the white no-- err Canada. Right, Canada. I enjoy playing games (recently have neglected my poor Wii and PS2 for my 360), piano, watching anime and reading manga, and writing (fanfiction mostly). I also like to do a lot of... graphic stuff. (Mostly icons, I hope to finish my latest icon dump and post it here (since it involves some im@s~). I also like traveling, but I don't do a lot of it because my parents prefer to stay at home... T___T; I'm planning on learning Japanese as well. I know most of the hiragana and katakana, the only problem is I have a | | vocabulary, I need to work on that...
Personality wise, I'm... different in a bunch of places. On MSN, I'm loud (err, I mean I like to type in capital letters... if I deem it necessarily?), talk lots (unless I don't know what to talk about x_x; ), and... very... fangirly? On forums, I'm a bit more formal, and like to lurk a lot. So uh, I'll try to be as active as possible! But if I don't make that many posts, it's okay, I'm still around. I try to be optimistic, and I probably make the lamest jokes ever -- feel free to hit me if I do (-brick'd-).
So, if I joined this forum, it means I have to be into Idolm@ster -- and of course. Well, actually, Idolm@ster is a new fandom for me. I... I think I started getting into it about early July. Believe it or not, it was actually Xenoglossia that got me into it. I saw a couple of episodes, stopped watching, then picked it up the night before I went to a friend's house. Finished watching the series at his house the next day (his brother went freckin' crazy when Chihaya started to raep Yukiho... Okay so she didn't actually, but you get the point). So let's see where I went from Xenoglossia.
I guess it was when I started looking up videos of Idolm@ster itself, and it kind of propelled into a fangirly fandom that I really enjoy. Hell, my friends started to call me gay because "I like to watch girls dance and sing". (I'm not gay/les if you guys are going to ask .___.; ).
Let's leave that bit alone and get back to Im@s.
Well, I can say my favorite idol is Makoto Kikuchi. I just enjoyed her voice the most (and I like her tomboyish attitude). As much as I like Makoto solo-ing the songs, I like her with duets and groups. I like her singing with Azusa (-hides avatar-), and recently, Miki. Weird. I also enjoy Azusa - Chihaya - Makoto (ACM) trio, but I think most people do. I think my favorite is actually all the idols singing together, but don't we all? After Makoto, I think I like Azusa. (Though, it could change when Dearly Stars gets released, because Eri has interested me.)
Hmm, no favorite pair here (okay I lied). I pretty much don't support any of the girls with each other in a lovelove relationship -- because I think they're all one big family! The producer is obviously the pet because I mean, look at how much he gets abused by Ami and Mami! (you have to love the Ami Mami abuse). But I mean, the closest I'll get is... perhaps Makoto and Azusa, perhaps.
(I actually really really like Ryou x Eri ♥. I'm going to run before the Makoto x Ryou fans eat me alive.)
I'm too poor to get any Idolm@ster merchandi-- okay I lied. I have money saved away, and I hope that when my birthday comes around in a month, my friends get me a PSP, and I'll be ordering Im@s (which version, I'm debating between Perfect Star and Missing Moon <_________<; ). And in my room I have two Fraulien Tech. figures, of Haruka and Mami in... their Gothic Princess outfits (? >_>; I'm sorry, I'm bad with their outfits.) sitting in their boxes. I'll eventually get around to taking them out and posting pictures. I hope to finish the collection and get Ami and... eventually Miki.

Also some random facts that I feel like saying (?): I noticed my birthday is a day before Ryou's, and... I meant to introduce myself here an hour and twenty minutes ago, I got caught up watching ... trap on ... whatevermakotois action tou-touching? Reading random posts on Sankaku Complex, and then looking at some art on pixiv (i wasn't looking for any ryou x eri, no not me no -- I think I'm a bad liar too.)
Anyways. I think that's pretty much all I have to say. It's nice to meet you all once again. I'm going to go off before I get eaten get comfortable, post... maybe err I mean yes I'll post, go off to finish that icon dump (stupid persona 4 pictures taking forever to crop. x_x;), and ... practice piano because I have an exam next week.
