Yeah, you forgot to mention tor could also be abused too.

Tor was my first thought as well, when I saw what had happened, actually.

No, every now and then anonymous contributions are made.

Why the hell did they do that?!  They really messed up the wiki! Well if I can i'll try to repair some of the damage done to the wiki.

Edit: I did my best to restore the idolmaster(X-Box 360) one.

Though to be honest, undoing changes in the wiki does not mean to edit the pages again, but rather removing the bad versions and revert back to the latest good version. Moreover, the first thing you did was to remove three contributions that h4ataraxia had done recently. These were quotes taken from the official 765 Production homepage. Still, it's fixed now, so no big deal. ~

I'm sorry I didn't mention any of this more clearly, and I would have started removing the bad page versions except it was so late when I noticed what had happened (3:30 AM).

EDIT: Wiki should be back to normal, except for a few empty junk pages, that the admins will have to remove.

Another note: I know a guy who can set up a way to stop proxy users from even entering a forum, required that someone hosts it in their PC. Dunno if that can be used in a wiki though.

Possibly, but I'm not even sure the forum mods have any special status in the wiki. For example, nowano could not edit the wiki menu, when I asked him about it a while ago.

Sorry. You should have told me the character pages were fine the way they were.

Hmm, I don't really see why you would assume the character pages should have been attacked in particular. All the bad edits were marked with IP only, on the recent changes page that I put up the link to. h4ataraxia's edits were marked with his username.

In any case, everything has been taken care of now, as I said.

It was kind of stupid for me to assume. I looked at recent changes and saw it as edited by Ip adress. I just wasn't thinking.

But at least it's fixed now.
