Kotori is the only member of Project 765 (other than Chihaya) that is a natural born Emmerian citizen. Though her current assignment is as an AWACS officer she was once a fighter pilot during the Belkan War. At the time she was engaged to her flight lead and the two planned to get married after the War was over (hence the wedding dress photo). Unfortunately he was shot down by a Belkan Ace one week before the cease fire. the Belkan Ace was later shot down by Yukiho over Airspace B7R. Even with the death of her fiance avenged Kotori decided to turn in her fighter wings and began flying the A-10 as a ground support pilot. She would earn the nickname Angel during Operation Freedom Castle when an uprising in Nordenavic required Emmerian aid. She is credited with saving the lives of countless soldiers and recieved a medal and promotion. After which her carrer was in limbo until she accepted a position as an AWACS officer. During the Anean Continental War Kotori was tasked with organizing the evacuation of Emmerian ground and air forces from San Loma, Otara, and the rest of eastern Emmeria. She would then help command and lead pilots and soldiers in the counter attack and liberation of Emmeria. She is currently the AWACS officer for Project 765.
