Fan Game Idea - Idols of War

Has anyone heard of table top war games such as Warhammer and BattleTech?
Well, I'm planning something similar with Im@s.

Basically I plan to draw the idols on "panels". Examples below:

Each Idol will have a weapon or two, and I'm still deciding whether they should have one or two abilities.

The problem I'm facing is what weapon, and ability to give each Idol.
I need some help deciding what type of weapon to arm each girl.

The Idols I plan to draw include the main cast, Dearly Stars, Million Live, and the every Idol that has in Starlight Stage.

I would start by giving them melee weapons based on their gimmicks.
Example:
Haruka - Mixer
Chihaya - Washboard
Yukiho - Shovel
Ritsuko - Paper fan
Makoto - Boxing gloves

I have thought about giving Haruka an Assault Rifle, and Katana. Being the main Idol, it does make sense to make her a balanced fighter.

Would being mech pilots be awesome? While the girls fill the role of tactical infantry, the guys fill in the combat vehicle gap.

I know for certain I'm giving one specific girl a mini-mech suit. Guess which one.
