o.o  Stupid question, but I have to ask-  If you created a JPN xbox live account, could you download and play im@s on a non-JPN xbox360 if you purchased it through the marketplace?

Some demos and the arcade live games are region locked, even if it is the full game it should be no exception.

The game will boot into the splash screen but that is it, try it if you want it's up to you.

Oh, that's great news. I can save on shipping costs then. But on the other hand I'm still planning to place an order with other stuff, and the actual im@s dvds are very cheap. Especially if you compare it to the price of xbox with shipping. Plus you get a booklet along the way. And the box is something to put on the shelf. That's why I don't really appreciate online distribution.

Yeah, some of us like physical items.
But then you get silly companies like Valve selling their games physically that have no manual but only the disc and serial number.

And you can only use the game on one Steam account, which if you lose or forget the password to it, have no way of recovering it, and end up making another account, you'll never play again unless you buy another copy.
Sadly, this crap happened to me with my Half-Life and CS games... sigh. :-[

But the thing is, the account I had is connected to my old MSN account... which I can't use anymore because I lost the password there as well, and I don't have a way of resetting it since I didn't make an alternate contact email at the time. Though for some reason, MSN can send the password reset email to the account I CAN'T LOGIN TO IN THE FIRST PLACE. >:(
Well, sorry to derail the thread. I'll just be leaving to vent a little.
EDIT: Actually, hold that thought. I just may be able to fix this. Again, sorry for derailing.

If the downloadable versions of im@s weren't region-locked, I would have bought them right away. ):

*has an American X360 ): *

But, it's great that im@s is now available online. It's becoming even more successful/popular!

I know the Iron Eyes will guide me!
