Oh my gosh, I was about to post the video about Yakusoku here.  I've listened to the song for so many years, and it's such a beautiful song by Asami Imai.  Chihaya is very beautiful!

"When reality surpasses the anime..."

That performance alone is what made 9th one of the most memorable im@s lives ever imo.  I heard during the part when Mingosu broke down, the audience started singing as well, along with the other seiyuus.  It's these special, precious moments that I love most about im@s, where everyone comes together and feeling that unity that sets us apart from other groups.

I was gonna post this back then too, and create a thread for sharing/discussing lives, but I thought I would end up being the only one posting stuff there lol.

True, those emotions are what makes the lives so great. Mingosu crys a lot if she has deep emotional feelings for these songs, but kugimiya also did cry at my song at the 10th, that was so sweet. I love how it shows what the seiyus themself feel for their charakters/franchise

Every time that I kept rewatching episode 20 of The iDOLM@STER for over 4 years, I've felt so relieved and joyful that the idols get to sing Yakusoku for Chihaya to greatly cheer her up.  It's such a joyful, touching episode, but what's even more heartwarming was the fact that Asami had even cried herself when she had sang the song in the live concert, and other voice actresses have sang for her as well.  Episode 20 still holds one of the most touching moments in anime history, and that's saying alot!  Asami Imai is easily one of the best ever!
