EX 1 pack issues

I just bought the EX 1 pack for me and my friend, I bought it on her account and downloaded it but I don't see the songs on my game, do I have to unlock it during the game?
It should be transferred to my game since it's saving on my ps3 not her account. Does someone know an answer to this issue?

I'm assuming you're talking about the solo songs.  Yes, you have to go through the idols' EX episode to unlock their song for Stage for You.

You unlock them after beating the Idol Extreme. So you need to rank up to maximum and then beat the festival that unlocks after that. Only then will you be able to play the EX Episode of that idol. So you will have to do this with all idols if you want to unlock all songs.

Btw: One method to tell whether the ex episodes have been installed is if you see S1 or S2 rank events pop up. Though i don't know if they pop up if you aren't already near or at rank A (i already had all my idols at A rank when the EX episodes were released).

When you download the EX 1 Pack from your friend, did you also download the catalog file from which the EX 1 pack belonged to?

Because you have to download the catalog file as well to use any DLC from that catalog.  Just downloading the DLC is not enough.  You need to download the catalog file as well.


The catalog files are actually free.  So, you don't have to use your friend's account.

Then, maybe your friend didn't download the catalog file?  I believe the EX 1 pack belongs in catalog 4.

So, if you don't see a catalog 4 download on their download list, then you'll have to download it on your own.

Just go to the game's shop (easy if you do it through the game's menu) and you'll see a list of catalogs.  Each catalog has two versions.  One, is for buying the specific DLC (which in your case is the EX 1 Pack).  The other is the actual catalog file which you need to download as well.  This file is usually big, so you'll know if you're doing it right.

Yes, you need to download/install catalog 4 to use any DLC for that catalog.  That goes for any DLC.  You need to also download/install the corresponding catalog file.

You can tell your friend to do this so that you can download from them.  Or, you can do it by yourself.  Either way is fine.

It didn't really work, i downloaded catalog 4 but I still don't see the EX episodes :c What am I doing wrong?
