Please read this post before adding tagsEvery iM@S related video starts out with one tag on the English version, "IDOLM@STER". It's up to the community to add the other tags.
While some users tend to skip out on adding other tags I try to preserve most of the tags from the original (unless it's a super in joke that wouldn't be understood to non Japanese or a tag that wouldn't make sense on the English version like "practiced comments" when there's no English comments).
One way you can help out is by translating untranslated videos on the top ranking list. Don't forget to change your browsing language to English when translating. Tags vary by region so you'll have to browse in Japanese for the Japanese tags.
http://www.nicovideo.jp/ranking/fav/daily/imasIf you feel like it's too much work to add all the original tags just adding the appropriate series tag and full names of the character featured helps.
If you only translate the title mark in the translation comments that it's only the title.
If you translate the title and the description mark in the translation comments that it's fully translated.
Note: If a tag is already in English you can keep it the same (example "MASTER_ARTIST").
If it's an uploader name keep the tag in Japanese if their name is in Japanese, if it's in English already you can keep it the same. (This is so people can find their other works easier and not all names are good translated. You can write their name in romaji in the description if you want though.)
